For a lot of people, 2026 is off to a very rocky start.

But amid all the reports of war and corruption and environmental collapse, there are still reasons to be optimistic.

For example, Sydney Sweeney has launched a lingerie line, and she promotes it by wearing the items herself.

The brand is called SYRN (pronounced “siren”), and it’s divided into five different collections.

Each time new items drop, Sydney models them on her Instagram page, which makes perfect sense.

If she picked someone else for the job, it would only create confusion. It would be like if Elon Musk hired someone hired a guy to be awkward on social media for him. He can just do that himself!

Anyway, first came the Seductress, which carried a femme fatale vibe featuring corsets and garters. Old school lingerie.

Then Sydney released Romantic, which had a softer and lacier vibe. Playful was the name suggests, more fun and sporty.

Then came Comfy, which was the most casual of the bunch.

Now, we’re getting a second round of Seductress releases. And as usual, both the lingerie and the model are receiving rave reviews on Instagram.

“A lil bit more of our seductress,” Sydney wrote in her caption, a play on words worthy of Shakespeare.

Predictably, the post quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of likes and an astonishing number of ultra-thirsty comments.

“GIRL YOU’RE SO STUNNING,” wrote one user.

“Internet is on its knees!!!” added another.

A third chimed in by basically writing an ode to the Euphoria star and lingerie mogul:

“Amidst the hellish battles raging in the Middle East between America and Israel against Iran, there is something beautiful that brings a smile and a sense of joy,” this person wrote,” adding:

“Sydney Sweeney and seeing her work and projects flourishing. There are beautiful women, yes, but the most beautiful of all in every way is Sydney Sweeney.”

Now, we’re sure Sydney is used to people being weird about her on the internet. But it still must feel a little strange.

But hey, she’s a natural-born star who seems perfectly comfortable in the spotlight.

While some celebs seem to hate every second of being famous (looking at you, Chappell Roan!), Sydney has worked hard for this moment, and she’s clearly enjoying every second of it.

Just days after Kendra Caldwell’s arrest, the world can see her arrest video.

Joseph Duggar’s arrest led to an automatic search of his home, where investigators found reason to bring new charges against both parents.

A lot of people had to revise their support for Kendra after learning that.

In addition to Michelle Duggar’s freakout, we can see Kendra’s much more subdued manner in police custody. Take a look:

In newly unveiled video, which you can watch below, showing Kendra Caldwell in police custody.

The footage shows the 27-year-old mother-of-four sitting while handcuffed while a police officer speaks to her.

This appears to be video taken from shortly after her mugshot was taken.

After the conversation, Kendra undergoes a simple search of her pockets as officers ensure that she is not concealing anything within her mouth or clothing.

She and an officer then go into another room. Context clues suggest that she is about to undergo a cavity search.

Kendra’s arrest came on Friday, March 20.

This was only two days after Joseph Duggar’s arrest.

Her husband is accused of molesting a now-14-year-old girl when she was only 9.

During a family vacation to Florida in 2020, he allegedly touched her thighs and genitals multiple times — only to eventually apologize and stop the sexual abuse.

He reportedly confessed to the girl’s father and to authorities when confronted, and is awaiting extradition to Florida.

Her charges are not related to her husband’s, but …

After Kendra’s arrest for false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child, the idea of it being a mere coincidence in timing seemed far-fetched.

But did that mean that she was involved in Joseph’s charges?

No. The answer lies somewhere between.

As we reported, police automatically searched Joseph’s home in light of the charges that he is facing.

There, they uncovered disturbing evidence that warranted these charges against Kendra (and against Joseph).

We do not know the full extent of what investigators uncovered.

However, we do know that they reportedly found doors that lock from the outside — like prison cells.

Finding that in any house would be chilling.

Discovering it in the home where the head of household is an accused child-molester was somehow even worse.

Though the odds of Kendra and Joseph facing serious consequences for this alone seem slim, authorities are charging both parents.

Nobody seems to be handling this well

A TikToker named Shabba documented Michelle Duggar having a full meltdown at those documenting after Kendra’s arrest.

“You cannot be here!” she screams in a video, as we reported.

“You are interfering with children,” Michelle oddly accuses. “Shame on you!”

We don’t know if interfering with children is the best phrase to use, under the circumstances.

But it’s best to not bring that up with Michelle — she will lose her cool. Such as it is.

Taylor Frankie Paul has a lot to be upset about these days.

After all, ABC canceled Paul’s season of The Bachelorette after the details of her 2023 domestic violence arrest were revealed,

But instead of reflecting on her own actions and asking what she might have done differently to avoid this outcome, Taylor is playing the victim.

In a recent social media post, Taylor addressed her Bachelorette firing, but rather than taking accountability, she blasted the press and social media users for sharing the video in which she’s seen assaulting then-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.

At one point in the footage, Taylor hurls several barstools at Dakota, one of which allegedly struck her daughter, who was seated nearby.

“Worst part is my daughter, [Indy], having to relive and see it all over again years later after extensive work with her and apologies [sic] to her about that night,” Paul tweeted on Monday.

The situation has been playing out publicly for weeks, and this is the first time that Taylor has mentioned her daughter’s reaction.

Indy was just five at the time of the incident. Now, at eight, she likely has a whole new understanding of the terrifying ordeal.

Taylor expanded on her daughter’s reaction to the scandal in a statement issued to People.

“I have a daughter who has been reliving seeing a video that she should’ve never seen,” Paul said, adding:

“I have a daughter who has had to hear people describe a video that she should’ve never heard described.”

According to Paul, her daughter has been hurt not only by the existence of the footage itself, but by the way people in the public sphere have talked about it:

“My daughter has continued to suffer the consequences of the actions of her father. My daughter deserves love and care. My daughter deserves her innocence,” she explained.

Paul said her goal in speaking out wasn’t to engage in an online debate, but to highlight how the situation has affected her child.

“This isn’t about fan wars, opinions, or narratives,” she wrote. “This is about a child seeing something no child should ever have to see.”

She also called for people to consider the real human beings involved when they comment or speculate on the situation:

“There is a human being on the other side of a screen,” Paul added. “There is a child on the other side of a screen.”

That’s good advice for everyone to keep in mind. But not surprisingly, Taylor’s latest comments have not been terribly well received, as many fans think she’s still positioning herself as a victim.

Nancy Guthrie has been missing since the night of January 31.

A new report says that Savannah be returning to The Today Show very soon.

Obviously, it’s complex — and a sudden development in the investigation could demand her attention.

But she could be back on people’s screens in a few short weeks. Is that too soon?

She may return sooner than you think …

Page Six reports that Savannah could return to The Today Show as early as next month.

Obviously, unexpected developments in her mother’s case could change things, the tabloid acknowledges.

But the report makes it clear that Savannah at least hopes to return to her chair after her children’s spring break ends.

In New York, most schools will be back to business by April 10th, so that gives us an approximate time frame.

For now, she’s said to be spending time with 11-year-old Vale and 9-year-old Charley. They’re all going through this — not just Savannah.

As the report explained, this is about more than just Savannah’s coping with the situation.

There is an ongoing investigation. Something could change at any moment.

One additional factor is probably a non-issue, but Hoda Kotb — who has been filling in for Savannah — does have some events coming up, unrelated to Today.

Now, the report makes it clear that Hoda isn’t pushing Savannah to return prematurely.

This is The Today Show, folks. If Hoda steps away before Savannah is back, someone else can and will step in for her.

It’s hard to predict the exact return date until the investigation ends

Another inside source told Page Six: “There is no announcement regarding Savannah’s return date, and Hoda will remain filling in for her.”

Now, that does not dispute any of the earlier reporting on the matter.

It simply strikes a very different tone.

What are we to make of this?

Well, to be blunt, it mostly tells us that Savannah is a woman whose job is extremely understanding of her situation. It’s not that she needs to work to live, but it’s great that her return date is TBD like this.

Getting back to work can be great for a person’s mental well-being. That depends upon the job, of course.

Sometimes, working is how we cope with a crisis — taking our mind off of the horrors.

(This does not apply to all jobs, particularly someone like Savannah, whose plight is known by the entire world.)

At any moment, there could be a break in the case that might call her back to her mother’s case.

We hate to say it, but the most likely “break” would mean that Savannah is planning a funeral or similar memorial. We would love for there to be a statistically improbable outcome, however.

This is so sad and so heartbreaking

Almost nothing could make the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, over 50 days ago and counting, worse.

However, vile conspiracy theories and absurd speculation about what appears to have been an ill-planned crime gone awry have made this more painful.

This is a sensational case. Only time will tell if investigators made mistakes that allowed the criminal to get away.

But, for now, we hope that Savannah and her family are coping with the horrors as well as they can.

The Today Show‘s audience will be overjoyed to see her return. But only when she’s ready.

Last week saw Joseph Duggar arrested, followed almost immediately by his wife Kendra’s arrest.

Amy Duggar hasn’t just put out one statement on the topic.

She’s put out multiple statements — having to walk back things like sympathy for Kendra.

Like the rest of us, Amy’s learning about things from the news.

She’s getting updates along with the rest of us

On Thursday, March 19, Amy reacted to the arrest of her cousin Joseph’s arrest by showering Kendra with support.

“Recognizing that we do not yet know the full picture,” she said in a diplomatic statement, “I am also praying for Joseph’s wife, Kendra.”

Amy was thinking of her cousin-in-law “as she begins to process this, and for the protection of their children.”

She added: “I’m praying for eyes to be opened and above all, I pray that justice will be served to the fullest.”

Just one day later, and she had no choice but to update her thinking on the matter.

On Friday, March 20, Amy shared an emotional update.

Kendra had been arrested, facing charges of second degree false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a minor. Joseph also received those charges in addition to those he faces in Florida.

As we reported, Kendra’s arrest stemmed from the search that investigators conducted in light of Joseph’s charges.

Inside, they apparently found alarming evidence about the children’s welfare, including that the children’s doors all lock from the outside — like cells.

It took Amy some time to gather information (which she was not receiving any faster than the rest of us) and amend her previous declaration of support.

‘I cannot wrap my head around that’

On Saturday, March 21, Amy spoke to TMZ to share a bit of an update.

“I’m learning just like everyone else and looking through any kind of article that I can find, trying to get answers,” she explained. “Because obviously this is [heartbreaking].”

Amy emphasized: “This is really, really hard on everybody. … It’s not just about the people who are inside this bubble, that believe this certain system.”

She explained: “It’s people who loved them. I loved Joe. I loved Kendra. There are so many people who are just wanting this to be not so serious.”

Amy emphasized her support for the now-14-year-old girl who spoke up about Joseph’s alleged sexual abuse of her when she was 9 years old. The child “should have been safe, should have been loved.”

“My heart cannot wrap around that,” she confessed. “The person that I thought I knew is apparently not the person he is today.”

Amy affirmed: “I will hold him accountable and I want justice to be served to the fullest.”

When it came to Kendra’s arrest, she commented: “I think that was a plot twist that no one saw coming.”

“When I gave that [first] statement … that was just the information I was given at the time and thought to be true,” Amy admitted.

She added: “Now that the information has changed and there’s more that is coming out and there’s a lot of question marks right now.”

‘That is where my heart lies’

As for her initial declaration of support, Amy isn’t ready to throw it away. Just to revise it a little.

“I’m just going to steer that statement towards the kids,” she shared, “because that’s what matters right now.”

Amy prioritized: “The kids’ safety, the victim and her family, and the four children that were in [Joseph and Kendra’s] home.”

She reiterated: “That is where my heart lies. I’m just going to lay there.”

Our thoughts, too, are with the safety of the children — the fourteen-year-old and also Joseph and Kendra’s four children. And, for that matter, plenty of other Duggar kids whose homes weren’t checked by investigators.

It seems like Taylor Frankie Paul’s bad days have just begun.

Things spiraled out of control after Dakota accused her of attacking him recently.

Then the world saw that awful 2023 video.

Now there is new footage from that year — police bodycam from after that harrowing fight.

2023 bodycam footage shows a new side to things

TMZ has obtained and released clips of bodycam footage from 2023, when police visited Dakota and Taylor’s home and arrested her.

First, the police separated the two, who were still screaming at each other.

Taylor appears to be struggling, stumbling as she walks, even breaking down sobbing while trying to pour herself some water.

Dakota claims to the officers that “she’s not doing okay.”

He then claimed: “I can’t even tell you the stuff that’s happened to me.” He showed police apparent injuries.

Officers had quickly decided that they believed Taylor to be the primary aggressor.

Even so, Dakota tells officers that he wants them to take him in, not Taylor.

The police explain to him that they believe that being arrested will help her to realize how serious this is.

“I truly just want her to get help,” Dakota claims to the law enforcement officers.

There are multiple takes on this bad situation. Dakota’s line there is both what a victim and an abuser might say in that situation.

Every detail is so upsetting

Another piece of footage shows one of Taylor’s children watching from within the home, seeing her placed in handcuffs.

Her parents arrive at the house to watch over her kids while she’s in custody.

Police place her in the back of a police car and haul her away.

A separate clip shows police speaking to Dakota about a metal bar stool that Taylor threw at him.

He says that it ricocheted to hit her kid, who was sitting on the couch. But it had some help — as Dakota admits that he deflected the object.

Police also spoke to Dakota about an alleged incident when Taylor urinated on herself during a car ride.

According to him, Taylor was intoxicated on a long drive home, and asked him repeatedly to pull over so that she could relieve herself.

Dakota said she couldn’t wait, and opened the door to urinate by the side of the road.

Not to give too much credit to the police, but even they brought up how domestic violence victims will sometimes urinate on themselves.

Dakota, however, claimed that it was simply a matter of Taylor having too much to drink.

This scandal has exploded

The harrowing incident was not news to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives viewers. It was covered at the start of the franchise.

However, the release of the shocking video was news to most of the Bachelor Nation.

There is speculation that Dakota’s aim was to sabotage Taylor’s season of the reality show — and that it worked.

ABC pulled the entire, finished season of the reality dating competition, mere days before the premiere date.

Taylor’s 3-year probation runs out in August of this year. But her reality TV career may end sooner than that.
