We have tragic news to report out of the world of social media today.

Zepa — the influencer who amassed a following of more than 1.5 million across platforms — has passed away.

She was just 26 years old.

News of her death comes courtesy of a statement posted to her X (formerly Twitter) page.

“Zepa has passed away unexpectedly,” read a translated announcement posted on April 5 (via Page Six).

“On behalf of the deceased, I deeply apologize for the abrupt news of their passing. The funeral was held privately with only family members in attendance.

“We sincerely thank you for the kindness and support extended to the deceased during their lifetime.”

The statement did not give any indication of Zepa’s cause of death.

But sadly, some of her followers were not shocked by the news of her passing.

In her most recent social media posts, Zepa frequently referenced her struggles with alcoholism.

At one point, she showed bruises on her arms and stated that she had suffered injuries during a recent bender.

In another post, she stated that she believed her drinking would lead her to an early grave.

“It seems that the average lifespan for [people with] alcohol dependency is around 50 years old… Have I already passed the halfway mark…?”

Throughout 2026, the Japanese web celebrity expressed concern about her own drinking habits.

“Where are my strengths, anyway… My cheerful side? Nah, I get alcohol depression sometimes too, though, lol,” she tweeted in March.

In another tweet, she revealed that she was “regretting having drunk too much the previous day.”

In a series of tweets from December, Zepa opened up about blacking out frequently:

“I don’t have alcohol-free days, or rather, if I don’t drink before bed at night, it doesn’t feel like the day’s over, and once it gets dark outside, my liver starts acting up somehow,” she wrote, adding:

“Even though I was drinking like crazy until 7 a.m. this morning, I’ve bounced back and now I’m having a Strong Zero

In another post, Zepa told her followers that she was “worried about [her]self” due to her drinking.

On social media, fans were quick to express their condolences.

“I still can’t believe it, but I sincerely pray for your soul’s eternal peace,” wrote one fan following news of her death.

“I offer my deepest condolences,” wrote another one.

“We offer our deepest condolences. May you rest in peace,” added a third.

Some of the cast of Jersey Shore went on to become model citizens.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro went in another direction.

He developed a reputation as an abusive trainwreck. And all of his apologies haven’t changed that.

The “domestic dispute” 911 call that had police racing to his home recently isn’t going to change that, either.

Ideally, breakups should not have to involve police

TMZ obtained a police report related to a recent 911 call.

On Sunday, March 29, Kirsten, girlfriend of Jersey Shore alum Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, contacted police for help.

She and the MTV star had apparently been “living together as a family unit” and had been an item for “three years.”

They had broken up. Unfortunately, that wasn’t quite the end of it.

Now, she needed assistance from law enforcement to retrieve her belongings from Magro’s $1.2 million Miami mansion.

Kirsten told police that she had initiated the breakup with Magro.

Allegedly, this was “due to infidelity issues,” the report listed.

Police accompanied Kirsten to the mansion, informing him that they were there to ensure a peaceful transition of property from his residence.

According to the report, both parties agreed that Kirsten would return three days later, on April 1, with a moving truck.

While police were present, no notable incident seemed to take place.

His rep claims that he’s the one who asked for police presence

A rep for Ortiz-Magro gave a statement to TMZ.

“He was in the process of separating from his long term girlfriend,” the representative described.

“And,” the rep claimed, “it was at his request for her to call the police.”

Boldly, the statement alleged that he wanted police there “to ensure that the separation/moving out was peaceful.”

The rep alleged: “And because he’s been the recipient of falsehoods in the past.”

“And,” the statement claimed, Magro “is in a really good place.”

Emotionally and mentally. Not just because he’s in a $1.2 million mansion.

“And,” the rep alleged, the Jersey Shore alum “didn’t want there to be any unnecessary drama.”

Very few people would consider police presence to be a solution to drama.

In fact, most breakups that involve police tend to be considered more dramatic than those that do not feature police. We don’t have a statistic to back that up, but, c’mon.

At this point, we don’t know anything about Kirsten.

That includes her last name. Which is fine! She is not a public figure.

(Which also means that there’s a real chance that she might never publicly respond to his rep’s claim that Ortiz-Magro is the one who wanted police there.)

The two kept their erstwhile relationship under the radar for this long. She shouldn’t have to answer questions about it.

Truth be told, most folks familiar with Magro’s dating history are just relieved that she got out.

It’s been a tough 2026 for Mike Vrabel.

First, the New England Patriots head coach lost the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks

And now, he’s at the center of a messy scandal involving the New York Times‘ NFL reporter Dianna Russini.

In photos obtained by Page Six, Vrabel and Russini can be seen looking mighty friendly with one another at a resort in Arizona.

They were both in town for league meetings that took place at the end of March.

The only problem is that both parties are married to other people.

According to Page Six, Mike and Dianna had brunch together at their resort, before “spending a leisurely hour or so together at the pool and lounging side-by-side in a hot tub.”

The outlet further alleges that Mike and Dianna were spotted “holding hands and hugging” during their day together.

Dianna has been married to Shake Shack exec Kevin Goldschmidt in 2020, while Mike tied the knot with wife Jennifer Vrabel, the mother of his two children, in 1999.

In statements to the New York Post, both Vrabel and Russini denied any wrongdoing.

“The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,” Russini told the outlet.

“These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable,” Vrabel told the New York Post on Tuesday, April 7. “This doesn’t deserve any further response.”

Russini’s employer, The Athletic, also sounded off on the matter.

“These photos are misleading and lack essential context,” said executive editor Steven Ginsberg. “These were public interactions in front of many people. Dianna is a premier journalist covering the NFL and we’re proud to have her at The Athletic.”

In 2023, she joined The Athletic, which was later acquired by the Times and she hosts the outlet’s “Scoop City: Inside the NFL” podcast.

Vrabel, of course, is a former linebacker who now serves as head coach for the New England Patriots.

He led the team to an AFC Championship in his first year on the job. But this situation could spell trouble for his career.

As many on social media have pointed out, another iconic Boston sports franchise, the NBA’s Celtics, fired coach Ime Udoka for an inappropriate relationship with a female staff member.

Even if the affair speculation turns out to be accurate — and again, both parties say it’s not — Vrabel might be spared by the fact that Russini is not an employee of the Celtics.

When Joseph Duggar was in Arkansas jail, he spent 23 hours a day in solitary confinement.

His similarly disgraced brother, Josh, has spent time in solitary for various reasons — including after being caught with contraband.

Why did that happen with Joseph?

The newly disgraced Duggar is now roaming free on bond. It’s pretty reasonable for people to want answers.

Why was he held in solitary?

On March 28, authorities arrested Joseph.

He faces charges in Florida — where he has since curiously pleaded not guilty — over allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation.

But, prior to his extradition to the Sunshine State, Joseph was in solitary.

Years ago, Josh Duggar had a contraband phone behind bars. Its discovery led to his solitary confinement.

A new report explains why Joseph was in near total isolation ahead of his extradition.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to E! News that Joseph was housed separately “for his own safety” before they shipped him off to Florida.

It sounds like this isn’t standard operating procedure — and has a lot to do with his (relative) fame.

“Due to Duggar’s social status and the media presence that is surrounding his case,” an officer logged on March 19.

The log continued: “I am placing Duggar on Administrative segregation in HC-4 for 7 days for his own safety.”

Joseph’s solitary confinement lasted for over a week, ending only on his Friday, March 27 extradition to Florida.

He and his wife are in a lot of trouble

While in solitary confinement, we know that Joseph read his faith’s holy book, the bible.

He also seemed to decline an offer for alternative reading material during one of his awkward phone calls with his wife, Kendra.

At the time, he appeared to be remorseful for his alleged crimes, having reportedly confessed twice prior to his arrest.

It is unclear if that has changed, or if his not guilty plea is a legal strategy to coax some sort of deal out of prosecutors.

He is currently out on $600,000 bond, barred from contacting any minors without supervision, and has even reunited with Kendra, who remains in hiding.

Both Joseph and Kendra are also facing charges in Arkansas.

They each face four counts of child endangerment and four counts of false imprisonment, both in the second degree.

Neither is permitted to contact their four children at this time.

Joseph and Kendra are both due in court on April 29.

Presumably, they will enter their pleas at this time.

Likely, he’ll end up in solitary again

Meanwhile, Joseph is due in court back in Florida sooner than that, on April 20. That will be his first arraignment.

If Joseph returns to custody on a long-term basis, he will likely need additional protective measures — including solitary confinement — for his own safety.

Sometimes, even violent criminals draw the line somewhere. One of those lines is at grown men who prey upon small children. Even the accusation that someone is a predator can lead to violence or death behind bars.

Our prison system should not be this way, and not only because we know that innocent people will end up behind bars.

But … none of that really has much to do with Joseph, does it? Or with Josh. Or with whoever is the next member of the family to be exposed as a monster.

In the ’90s, Jennie Garth made a name for herself as one of the stars of Beverly Hills, 90210.

Now, in her debut memoir, the TV icon is revealing that her adulthood has not always been as picture perfect as her youth.

The book, titled Choosing Me, doesn’t come out until next week, but Garth opened up about her painful past in a new interview.

Garth says she hit rock bottom around the time of her 2013 divorce from Peter Facinelli.

“I spent a good amount of years being hurt, sad, just tormented by it, and it eked out into all aspects of my life,” Garth recalled, adding:

“I noticed my light really dimming. I wasn’t putting off good vibes. I could see it in the mirror. I could look at the negative impact that that kind of grief and anger was having on me.”

At her lowest point, Jennie says, she needed to have her stomach pumped after overdosing on alcohol and prescription pills.

She later checked into Canyon Ranch rehab and addressed the root causes of her substance abuse issues.

“And there was a weird switch where one day I just said, ‘I don’t want to carry this anymore. It’s impacting my relationships and how I feel about myself. I’ve got to let it go. I’ve got to forgive him.’”

Garth admits that her third marriage, to Dave Abrams, has also had its ups and downs.

The couple separated in 2018, but reconciled the following year.

“I really wanted to give Dave a baby because he was young and all of his friends were having kids and I just thought that’s what he needed,” Garth says, adding:

“It all comes down to people-pleasing. Once you really get to the core of what you want for your life? That’s when everything seems to get easier.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Garth opened up about the pressures of instant fame at an early age.

“It was like being in The Beatles,” she said.

“There was no preparation for it. It was scary and unknown for all of us, and it was like sink or swim, just survive and figure it out as you go. It was major on-the-job training.”

Thankfully, all these years later, it seems that Jennie has finally found happiness in her career, in her marriage, and with her three daughters.

When it comes to American Idol alums and their marriages, it could be worse.

Justin Guarini and his wife of many years have split.

What’s odd is that the divorce isn’t new — it dragged on for over a year, all while flying beneath the radar.

The Season 1 runner-up, who lost to Kelly Clarkson two dozen years ago, has even moved on.

It’s over after about 15 years!

TMZ acquired court records exposing an unexpected divorce that no one saw coming.

Justin Guarini filed for divorce in June of 2024.

He and his erstwhile wife, Reina Guarini, had been together for about 15 years.

They also share two children together.

Somehow, the divorce processed dragged on without becoming public. That’s a tricky juggling act!

For over a year, Justin and Reina went through the legal process of ending their marriage.

Apparently, the Guarini divorce was quietly finalized in December.

Justin, at least, has already moved on.

TMZ reports that he’s “in a relationship with a business coach named Kim Phillips.”

No word on whether Reina has moved on. These things take different amounts of time for different people.

He really is a blast from the past

American Idol premiered in 2002, during our nation’s collective grief and madness in the years following the September 11 attacks.

The reality competition was very much a product of its time.

Even when the series premiered, it was bemoaned as the death of art in the United States.

Some critics even quipped — using deliberate hyperbole — that the “terrorists have won,” particularly when Idol became so enmeshed in performative patriotism and in 9/11 memorials.

Even so, the series did elevate some interesting talents to stardom. And also, Kelly Clarkson.

This must be such a hard time for Kristi Noem. Oh well.

Joseph owns and manages several rental properties — other than reality TV, real estate has always been the Duggars’ biggest hustle — and Kendra is preparing to take the reins.

Insiders say Kendra has assumed a larger role in managing their household finances and business dealings.

People who know the family say this shift hasn’t just been practical — it has been necessary.

Currently, Kendra and Joseph are not allowed to see their four children.

But they’re hoping that will change soon. And Kendra will need some way of supporting her large family.

Despite the gravity of the charges her husband is facing, Kendra’s focus — according to those close to the family — remains on maintaining stability for her kids and household during a difficult time.

And Kendra and Joseph’s real estate holdings may soon be a new source of drama.

As we previously reported, Kendra’s parents are living in a house owned by Joseph.

The situation was all well and good until about a year ago, when Kendra began feuding with her parents for unknown reasons.

In phone conversations that took place while Joseph was in prison, Kendra discussed the possibility of kicking her parents out of their home.

Her folks launched a GoFundMe to help them secure new housing, but they later took the fundraiser down.

We don’t know what their current situation is, but no matter what happens, it’s clear that Kendra is ruthless enough to be a landlord.
