It’s been a tumultuous year for both Taylor Frankie Paul and Stefon Diggs.
She had her season of The Bachelorette canceled by ABC. His team lost Super Bowl LX after he put up completely lackluster numbers.
She’s the subject of multiple domestic violence allegations, and he’s in the midst of a messy breakup with Cardi B.
So in the midst of all this drama did the ex-Mormon reality star and ex-elite wide receiver form an unlikely relationship?
That’s the bizarre rumor that the internet is fixating on this week.
So how did the rumor start? And is there any truth to it?
Well, you might not be surprised to learn that the answers to those questions are “AI” and “yeah, probably not.”
The original source of the drama seems to be the tweet below:
Now, the photo on the right purports to show Taylor and Stefon hanging out in Provo, Utah.
And it looks pretty authentic! But of course, it’s not.
Gone are the days when AI photos were loaded with telltale signs like hands with a dozen fingers.
These days, we need to look for more subtle cues — like the fact that the post is from Hater Report and not Bleacher Report (as one might think from a quick glance at the logo).
But that didn’t stop the good folks on X (formerly Twitter) from taking this post seriously and offering up their hottest takes.
“She beats children. He beats women. Match made in heaven,” wrote one user.
“Two abusers dating each other,” another added.
“I don’t have any idea who the heck he is but he’s wearing some weird crap on his feet,” wrote a third user (who was so close to figuring this out!)
Obviously, many commenters referenced Paul’s assault on Dakota Mortensen, and for good reason.
After all, that was the scandal that led ABC to take the unprecedented move of canceling Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette.
But while we’re certainly not defending Taylor’s actions, it’s worth noting that the situation might be more complicated than it appears.
Earlier this week, Paul was granted a restraining order against Mortensen.
For weeks, she’s been insisting that the video does not tell the whole story, and she was actually a victim of abuse.
Hopefully, the truth will come to light eventually.
In the meantime, Taylor doesn’t need any new scandals. So it’s probably a good thing that she’s not dating Stefon Diggs (as far as we know).

Jonah Hill has worn many hats over the course of his career: nerdy stoner comedy guy, nerdy prestige drama guy, and now, husband and father.
Yes, Hill stunned fans today when he revealed this week that he’s married and recently welcomed his second child.
The news came the way all major announcements should be revealed — in a conversation with Martin Scorsese.
Hill is currently promoting the movie Outcome, which he wrote, directed, and stars in.
As part of his promo tour, Jonah spoke with Marty — who directed him in The Wolf of Wall Street — for Interview magazine.
But Hill’s revelations about his private life have overshadowed his efforts to drum up interest in his movie.
“I was saying to my wife, ‘He’s seeing it over the weekend, so what if he hates it but already agreed to do it?’” Hill said of Scorsese during the conversation.
“I have two kids now,” he remarked in a different point in the sit-down, adding:
“The only thing that could separate me from my family is the editing room. I love the writing, I love the shooting, but editing … It’s like dessert every day. Even the problems are dessert.”
Wife? Kids?! Hill has remained a pretty private person throughout his career, but we didn’t think he was keeping that much under wraps!
Anyway, we now know the identity of Jonah’s wife. According to People magazine, Olivia Millar is the daughter of ’80s supermodel Esmé Marshall.
Hill was previously engaged to Gianna Santos in 2019.
Shortly thereafter, he dated professional surfer Sarah Brady, and he eagerly shot down rumors
Showcasing the charming wit for which he’s known (yes, we’re being sarcastic; Jonah has earned a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most insufferable jerks), he blasted reports that he and Sarah were planning a wedding, joking that he’s actually engaged to “your mom” (per Page Six).
Funny stuff.
Brady later blasted Hill as a “misogynistic narcissist” and posted screenshots of text messages that depicted him as a controlling bully.
Anyway! Congrats to Jonah and Sarah on their joyous union. Hopefully, for the sake of everyone involved, the actor has sorted out some of his issues in therapy.

On March 29, 2013, a couple of the planet’s most infamous old men took a little stroll in France.
Woody Allen and his wife-who-was-the-adopted-daughter-of-his-ex Soon-Yi Previn were bundled up and wandering down the streets of Saint-Germain Des Prés.
That unsettling couple was not alone.
With them was Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous pedophile whose extensive network of contacts includes Donald Trump and other government figures from multiple nations, as well as titans of industry and more.

The neighborhood is historic. And the men are simply infamous.
Woody Allen was famously accused of sexually abusing Mia Farrow’s daughter, Dylan Farrow.
(This accusations surfaced when Dylan was a child, and then again in Dylan’s own words about a dozen years ago.)
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein is one of the most infamous scumbags in human history. We wish that this were hyperbole.
The sheer volume of records of his correspondences with a vast network of people — some innocuous, but many not — have horrified the world.

Her opinions about teens ‘talking’ to grown men are NOT great
Three years after that walk, Soon-Yi emailed with Epstein following yet another Anthony Weiner scandal.
In 2016, Human Abedin worked on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. Unfortunately, for reasons only known to Abedin, she remained married at that time to disgraced politician Weiner.
At that time, a teenage girl who has since expressed political motives messaged Weiner. She was only 15.
Weiner messaged her back undeterred. This led to an eventual FBI investigation into him — which led to an FBI announcement about an “investigation” into the Clinton campaign, however indirectly.
Some have argued that the investigation altered the course of the election, as a sort of October Surprise. If so, this simple chain of events led to the horrors that hundreds of millions of Americans now face.
Most of us understand that, no matter the girl’s motives, Weiner should never have had inappropriate conversations with a minor. Genuinely, the girl’s intentions do not matter because she was a child, and he was an adult.
Soon-Yi, however, emailed with Epstein to express how she “felt sorry” for Weiner. (It seems that she understood that Epstein would be a sympathetic ear.)
“It was disgusting what the 15-year-old did to him,” she vented in emails — emails that are now public due to the (illegally limited) Epstein Files release.
“I hate women who take advantage of guys and she is definitely one of them,” Soon-Yi complained. “She knew exactly what she was doing and how vulnerable Wiener was and she reeled him in like fish to bait.”
Yikes, yikes, yikes
Soon-Yi went on to vent to Epstein that the girl was “sick” for having “done this to him.”
She went so far as to say that the girl “should be ashamed of herself.”
That’s a bizarre take. Even with sinister motives, a teenager is the “vulnerable” party — while a grown adult man is simply not. He is a human, not a fish.
Soon-Yi married Woody Allen when she was 27 and he was 62, but they first met when she was 10 years old.
We can understand how her complex personal story might give her a skewed understanding of right and wrong.
But as a grown adult, she should understand that children are off limits, and that the men who are inappropriate with them are always in the wrong.

After more than a week in solitary confinement and an extradition to Florida, the latest Duggar to be accused of preying upon a little girl is back with his wife.
Joseph is out on bond and returned to Arkansas.
Though he isn’t Kendra’s first priority right now, they’re now hiding out together amidst their growing disgrace.
This reunion may be short-lived. He’s due back in court in Florida in a little over a week.
Apparently, Kendra’s willing to hide out with him
Attorney J. Sauline III tells People that Joseph and Kendra reunited just one day after Joseph was released on bond by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office.
Sauline is representing Joseph for his charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.
These charges stem from allegations that he molested a 9-year-old girl during a 2020 trip to Florida.
However, Sauline is not representing Joseph in the Arkansas charges for false imprisonment and child endangerment.
According to Sauline, Joseph flew back to Arkansas from Florida — with daddy dearest, Jim Bob, for company — after his release on $600,000 bond.
Kendra Caldwell has been in hiding following her own arrest for child endangerment and false imprisonment.
(She and Joseph will have separate attorneys in this case.)
Now, they’re apparently hunkering down together. At least, that’s what Joseph’s attorney is reporting.
Many spouses would not be willing to spend time around a partner who confessed twice to sexually preying upon a child.
However, the twisted ideology of the Duggar cult demands that wives devote themselves to their husbands no matter what. Kendra may feel that she has no choice.
Remember, she’s in trouble, too
The spouses are facing eight charges each in Arkansas, unrelated to Joseph’s Florida charges.
(To be clear, the charges are unrelated, but the automatic search of his home by law enforcement in light of his charges are what prompted these charges.)
When local authorities searched their home, they uncovered something that prompted a charge of child endangerment and false imprisonment, both in the second degree, for each of the couple’s four children.
Reportedly, they discovered bedroom doors that lock from the outside, like prison cells.
It is unclear what else investigators may have discovered. The report on the door locks comes from a source close to the Duggars, which means that a grain of salt is required.
As many longtime Duggar-watchers have observed, Joseph may have believed that it was appropriate or normal to lock up his kids.
After all, he grew up in an abusive cult that treats children as property — even more than society as a whole does.
(Obviously, none of this is an excuse.)
In fact, Jim Bob and Michelle’s response to Josh’s crimes as a teenager was to lock their children up for the night.
People who grow up in horrible conditions may repeat their parents’ unjustifiable actions, without even knowing that they are unusual or evil. That is, again, no excuse.
He’s due back in Florida on April 20
Joseph and Kendra are due in court on April 29.
Until that time, they are barred from contacting their children.
Additionally, Joseph may not contact any minors without supervision. Obviously.
He is actually due back in court in Florida even before that, on April 20.
Only time will tell whether their marriage will survive these legal troubles. It’s just about impossible to root for them, but given the extreme beliefs of the cult, divorce seems unlikely.

Fans are expressing concern for Natasha Lyonne following news that the beloved actress was removed from a flight by concerned crew members.
News of the incident followed on the heels of a viral TikTok post featuring Lyonne.
In the clip, Natasha seems to require physical support as she awkwardly makes her way along the red carpet at the Euphoria Season 3 premiere.
It’s important to note that we know very little about these incidents, and there are many reasons why Lyonne may have been a little unsteady on her feet.
But the actress has struggled with addiction issues in the past, and the internet is taking this as a sign that Natasha has relapsed. More on that later.
First, we’ll address the plane situation, which sounds like the sort of thing Natasha will be offering up amusing anecdotes about in her next interview.
According to Page Six, Natasha boarded a Delta flight a few hours after the premiere, still sporting the same outfit she had worn on the red carpet.
When flight attendants asked her to put away her laptop and store her tray table she didn’t respond. They eventually surmised that she was asleep.
“Ah! You scared me!” Lyonne reportedly shouted when they finally woke her up
“Ma’am, do you need medical attention?” one attendant asked.
“Ma’am, I need you to come off the plane. Do you need help with your belongings?” another remarked
“Where are we?” Lyonne was overheard asking, before being told, “We’re still in LA. The plane hasn’t gone anywhere … The plane is not going anywhere until you come off it.”
Witnesses say Lyonne shushed the gate agent who had come on board, then headed to the bathroom and emerged eating a bag of pretzels.
She then exited the plane after being informed that her luggage had already been removed.
“We have a passenger, who for whatever reason, wouldn’t follow some basic commands,” the captain reportedly told the other passengers once Lyonne had been removed.
“We had a passenger who didn’t seem up to the task tonight so that’s why they were asked to be booked on another flight — I do apologize for the inconvenience, but we will get you to New York as quickly and as safely as possible.”
As for the Euphoria incident, Lyonne will be appearing on the show’s third season, and — maybe the pressure of a red carper event just got the best of her?
The 45-year-old announced back in January that she had relapsed after several years of sobriety.
“Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time.
“Want to thank our recovery communities and the fans who stood by and were so supportive. Aiming to keep the journey somehow private, but look forward to sharing my experience, strength and hope as makes sense.”
The comments on the TikTok video were full of judgment, but thankfully there were some supportive fans.
“Sobriety isn’t linear. I hope Natasha can get back on track for herself,” one commenter wrote.

All along, Diddy has been hoping to knock time off of his prison sentence.
His attorneys are trying their hardest as they argue before the appeals court.
One of their arguments is that the judge sentenced him improperly.
More interestingly, they argue that his very narrow conviction is Unconstitutional — because “freak-off” parties are First Amendment expression.
Could he get out even earlier than scheduled?
TMZ reports that the disgraced rapper’s legal team is presenting an oddly compelling argument before a federal appeals court.
The argument is, in essence, pretty simple: that the few charges on which Diddy was convicted, the “freak-offs,” are Constitutionally protected activities.
Remember, the jury failed to convict him of the actual crimes — like racketeering conspiracy.
His convictions were for transporting sex workers “for purposes of prosecution.” That is a crime under teh Mann Act.
Diddy’s attorneys are saying that the law doesn’t apply, because the “freak-offs” were transformative works of art.
“Freak-offs and hotel nights were highly choreographed sexual performances involving the use of costumes, role play, and staged lighting,” his attorneys arue.
According to the attorneys, these were events “which were filmed so Combs and his girlfriends could watch this amateur pornography later.”
His legal team notes: “Pornography production and viewing of this sort is protected by the First Amendment.”
The argument continues: “And thus cannot constitutionally be prosecuted.”
Prosecutors are calling these claims “meritless,” but the appeals court may find it a compelling case.
His team is also complaining about his sentence
Despite the horrors presented in court, Diddy only received a 50-month sentence. That is because he was only convicted of the least of these charges.
His attorneys say that a typical sentence for transporting people for sex work is 15 months.
(This is not the case on which to argue it but, obviously, sex work must be decriminalized.)
As such, his team says that his sentence is excessive.
To date, he has served 19 months. Scary to think that, even if the appeals court doesn’t bite, he could be out in less than two years!
According to the rapper’s defense team, the judge’s sentence was out of line.
Why?
They say that the judge considered evidence from Diddy’s much more serious charges in issuing the sentence.
Like it or not — and, really, who other than the man himself likes it — the jury acquitted him of racketeering and trafficking.
Team Diddy doesn’t like the idea that the judge considered anything, including the horrific video of Diddy’s violent attack against Cassie Ventura, when sentencing their client.
What will the appeals court decide?
As we said earlier, sex work absolutely must be decriminalized. The government should not, and must not, tell people what to do with their own bodies.
And porn — whether it’s high art or just filmed on a phone (or somehow both) — is Constitutionally protected, and must remain so.
The appeals court will have to determine whether Diddy’s “freak-off” parties qualify.
One helpful tip may be that Constitutionally protected performance art does not generally have victims. At least, it isn’t supposed to.
But the rapper wasn’t convicted for anything involving a victim. The jury gave him a pass for every charge where he allegedly had a victim who was a woman or a sex worker. Only time will tell how he court will rule.
