As we previously reported, model and actress Ruby Rose has accused Katy Perry of sexual assault.
Rose posted the allegation on X (formerly Twitter) in response to a post about snide remarks that Katy made about Justin Bieber’s Coachella performance.
“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne,” Rose replied, adding:
“Who gives a s–t what she thinks.”
In subsequent posts, Rose elaborated on the alleged incident, which she says took place nearly 20 years ago.
“She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side,” she began,” she wrote adding:
“And rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.”
Just hours after the allegations were made public, Katy issued a denial through her spokesperson:
“The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies,” the statement reads (via TMZ).
“Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”
Rose has shown no sign of backing down, maintaining that Katy’s assault was “traumatic,” and she only now feels capable of talking about it.
“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes,” she tweeted.
“Before I open up about something incredibly raw and traumatic, I tell myself ‘it’s ok, you don’t need people to believe you, you just need to get it out of your poor body, before it gives you cancer.’”
“But then I see this post and tears consume me, in a good way. Thank you.”
Rose went on to claim that she kept the incident a secret in part because Katy helped her secure her US visa.
“I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly,” Rose alleged, adding:
“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”
Rose has not yet replied to Katy’s denial, but something tells us this feud is far from over.

This sounds serious.
Lindsie Chrisley remains estranged from her awful relatives.
Her boyfriend was arrested on charges that seem to indicate that he attacked and strangled her.
Lindsie has had only a little to say since the incident. His mugshot is now available, as you can see.
David Landsman was arrested on felony assault and misdemeanor battery
On the afternoon of Friday, April 10, David Landsman was arrested.
At 4:29 PM, he was booked on charges of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery.
His mugshot shows the 52-year-old, who is rumored to be Lindsie’s fiance, wearing a bright orange shirt.
He also appears to have a small gash above his left eyebrow.
It is unclear where in or surrounding the arrest process he may have received the facial injury. It presumably had not had time to scab.
TMZ reported that it was actually Landsman who called the police.
When responders arrived, they found Lindsie with visible injuries.
Given that she does not have a mugshot, those injuries have not been made public.
Part of Landsman’s charges reportedly relates to strangulation, however. Online speculation is that she may have visible hematomas around her neck.
Many places have laws requiring police to separate or even arrest one member of a couple if there is a domestic dispute call. We do not know the details of what first responders witnessed upon arrival.
‘I don’t recognize myself anymore’
On Saturday, April 11, Lindsie posted what may have been indirect commentary about what transpired.
In the Instagram Story post, which has since been automatically deleted, she was clear in tone, at least.
“I don’t recognize myself anymore,” Lindsie began.
“Not in my laughter, not in my silence,” she admitted.
Lindsie continued: “Somewhere between surviving and pretending, I became a stranger to my own soul.”
To be clear, not all of these words are original to Lindsie.
The final quote appears to be from Wakio Agather.
It is a powerful quote — one that far too many people find painfully relatable.
Some fans are speculating that Lindsie will speak more directly on the topic on the podcast that she and Kailyn Lowry share.
However, because of the complexities of legal matters, Lindsie may wisely avoid directly addressing what happened.
As far as the public is concerned, this came out of nowhere
As recently as last month, Lindsie and Landsman fueled engagement rumors.
(Oddly, Landsman jokingly asked for Todd Chrisley’s blessing to ask her to marry him. That would be cringe even if she weren’t estranged from the guy.)
Last year, we reported that Lindsie was using Landsman’s last name.
That was not due to a secret marriage, however — she simply needed another name because her association with the disgraced family name was closing doors for her.

It’s been over ten weeks since Nancy Guthrie disappeared from her home in Tucson.
And sadly, investigators are no closer to locating Nancy or apprehending her kidnappers.
At this point, it’s widely believed that the 84-year-old mother of Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie is no longer living. And one former FBI agent believes that her captors continued to send ransom notes after her death.
Jennifer Coffindagger is a former federal agent who now provides media coverage on cases such as Nancy’s.
In a recent series of social media posts, Coffindaffer stated that she believes Nancy is no longer alive.
“Law enforcement said they know the motive for the abduction of Nancy and they have known it from the beginning. “Kidnapping for ransom,” she wrote (via Radar Online), adding:
“Nancy sadly died. The kidnappers didn’t care and tortured the family with 2 notes knowing the FBI would not recommend paying a ransom without proof of life.
“Like most cases, this one is simple, but everyone wants to make it complex.”
The Guthries received multiple ransom notes demanding millions of dollars in Bitcoin in exchange for Nancy’s safe return.
The family’s requests for proof of life received no response, and as a result, the Guthries did not offer payment.
In a recent interview, Savannah addressed the fact that her family may have been targeted due to her wealth.
“But I knew that,” she told Newsweek. “I hope not. I mean, we still don’t know. Honestly, we don’t know anything.”
Savannah added, “I don’t know that it’s because she’s my mom and somebody thought: ‘Oh, that lady has money, we can make a quick buck.’ I mean, that would make sense, but we don’t know.”
Sadly, it’s looking more and more like the Guthries might never find the closure that they seek.
After more than two months away from the anchor’s desk, Savannah returned to the Today show last week.
And while she’s welcomed the support of fans and colleagues, we’re sure nothing would help her heal like some definitive word on her mother’s fate.

It’s no secret that Katy Perry has been hemorrhaging fans in recent years.

Now, actress Ruby Rose is leveling a jarring allegation.

This began with, believe it or not, some of the back-and-forth wank about Justin Bieber essentially doing karaoke of his old work at Coachella.
Some folks used this to bash other performances, such as Sabrina Carpenter’s, claiming that high production values were somehow inferior to almost literally phoning it in.
This came under discussion on Threads, which is Meta’s attempt at replacing Twitter. Yes, there are real people who use Threads.
As you can see below, Katy Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s barebones karaoke at Coachella became a topic of discussion.

The alleged incident to which Rose refers happened so long ago that the Spice Market is no longer open.
She opened up about how, personally, leveling an allegation like this — against a woman — is much more difficult than speaking out against a man.
In response to a tasteless quip, Rose elaborated on the accusation.

In addition to struggling to speak out against a woman, Rose admitted that she had another reason for avoiding the topic for longer than she had cared to.
According to the actress, she minimized the story as nothing more than a wild story, in part, because Perry helped her.
Allegedly, Perry helped Rose to secure a visa to the US.
Many of us best know Rose’s work from acting in North America. Obviously, getting this visa helped change Rose’s life.
But there is no situation where an alleged sexual assault is a fair trade for paperwork.
‘She is more than welcome to sue me’
As you can see, Rose also expressed total disinterest in filing a police report over this.
This is something that many, many people on social media have noted feel relatable.
For survivors — particularly someone accusing a powerful celebrity — the court of public opinion is cruel. The legal system is generally much crueler, and that applies even when the accused is neither wealthy nor powerful.
Social media is full of anecdotes of people who told their stories to police only for police to use interrogation tactics to try to poke holes in their stories. Some are even charged, accused of providing false information to police. Very, very few get justice in any form.
Katy Perry did not immediately issue a public response to the allegations. However, Rose made it clear that she’s willing to go to court if Perry intends to sue her.

As we previously reported, Aubrey Plaza is pregnant with her first child.
The news comes just over one year since Plaza’s husband, writer and director, Jeff Baena, died by suicide.
And because this is 2026, and no one is capable of being normal about anything, some folks are criticizing Aubrey about the timing.

As is so often the case with hot social media takes, this post gets some very important facts wrong.
For starters, Baena died in January of 2025, so Aubrey didn’t become pregnant until more than a year after his death.
On top of that, the couple had been separated for several months when he died.
Fortunately, Aubrey seems to be more focused on the joyous time in her life than on the social media haters who are trying to bring her down.
Appearing on the latest episode of the wildly popular “Smartless” podcast, Aubrey spoke about her pregnancy for the first time.
“Well, there’s a baby inside of me. No, I said there is a baby inside of me right now,” she said (via Page Six), adding:
“Today was a big day. I went to the doctor’s today, and my dog also went to the doctor’s. And both of us — my dog’s getting a scan right now. I got a scan earlier. I’m not kidding.
“She had to get an ultrasound on her stomach. And then I got an ultrasound on my stomach, and there is a baby in there.”
Asked if she was “excited” about being an expectant mom, Aubrey replied:
“I am. Yeah. I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted, I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know?
“It just seems so interesting, that whole thing,” she added.
Aubrey is pregnant by fellow actor Christopher Abbott, with whom she’s worked on several projects, including the film Black Bear.
“It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” a source told People magazine about the news. “They feel very blessed.”
