Last week, Queen Elizabeth II would have celebrated her 100th birthday.
Several UK media outlets marked the occasion with retrospectives on the late monarch’s life as well as new reportage on her final days.
The magazine Air Mail ran perhaps the most scandalous piece for the Queen’s centennial, with journalist Craig Brown making a surprising claim about Elizabeth’s view of the marriage between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In a piece titled “The Strange Afterlife of Queen Elizabeth II,” Brown alleges that Elizabeth had no doubt that Harry and Meghan’s marriage would end in divorce.
“It’s not a matter of if,” she allegedly remarked to an associate at one point, “it’s a matter of when.”
Brown added that he was informed of the Queen’s comments “a year or two ago,” but decided to keep it under wraps until now.
It’s no secret that Meghan didn’t always get along with Harry’s family.
In fact, the feud between Meghan and Kate Middleton is the stuff of legend at this point.
But the Queen was always said to be one of Meghan’s biggest supporters within the Windsor clan, so the news that she was so pessimistic about Harry’s marriage comes as somewhat of a surprise.
Then again, Elizabeth prioritized duty and tradition over just about everything else in life, so perhaps we shouldn’t be totally shocked that she was no great fan of the romance that eventually led Harry to step away from Royal life.
Elsewhere in the Air Mail piece, Brown revisited his previous claim that the Queen was also not a fan of President Donald Trump.
“In fact, I heard always the opposite. I heard I was her favorite president. She would say it to a lot of people, she said it to friends of mine that ‘President Trump was my favorite president’ … We had an unbelievable relationship,” Trump shot back at his initial report.
But as Brown notes, Barack Obama later corroborated his claims about Elizabeth’s feelings toward the president.
“Why is this person so close to running your country?” she reportedly asked Obama in 2016.
The Queen was known for her stiff upper lip and her “never complain, never explain” approach to life.
But clearly, in the right company, she was not shy about expressing her opinion.

For decades, Lisa Kudrow has been a national treasure.
While promoting The Comeback‘s return, she reflected upon Friends — which she has been rewatching.
Kudrow details “mean” and “brutal” conflicts with the writers.
Including, she says, how some of the writers were clearly fantasizing about her co-stars.
‘The guys would be up late discussing their sexual fantasies’
During a recently published interview with The Times of London, Kudrow spoke about how less-than-friendly Friends could be off-camera.
“There was definitely mean stuff going on behind the scenes,” she admitted.
“Don’t forget we were recording in front of a live audience of 400,” Kudrow emphasized.
“And if you messed up one of these writers’ lines or it didn’t get the perfect response,” she shared, “they could be like, ‘Can’t the bitch f–king read? She’s not even trying. She f–ked up my line.’”
There are multiple infamous aspects of Friends, including the Les Moonves of it all. But Kudrow had a lot to say about the writers in particular.
According to Kudrow, the Friends writer’s room of 12-15 was comprised mostly of men.
She quipped that “the guys would be up late discussing their sexual fantasies” about Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, her co-stars.
“It was intense,” Kudrow characterized.
She even went so far as to describe the dynamic between writers and stars as “brutal.” At times, anyway.
“But these guys — and it was mostly men in there — were sitting up until 3 a.m. trying to write the show,” Kudrow reasoned. “So my attitude was, ‘Say what you like about me behind my back because then it doesn’t matter.’”
She’s actually not the first to touch upon this topic
In 2004, a former writers’ assistant filed a lawsuit against Warner Bros. Television.
Amaani Lyle accused the writers of Friends of both sexual harassment and racial harassment.
This bitter battle made it all of the way to the California Supreme Court.
In a bizarre twist, the California Supreme Court ruled against Lyle — but not upon a basis of fact.
Rather, the court agreed that the writers’ behavior was a necessary part of the work environment.
That glaring blow to jurisprudence is horrifying, even in the unending hell of 2026. (Yes, there are jobs where a direct discussion of sex is important; there is no need for a writer’s assistant to face harassment, however.)
Actually, speaking of the horrors of 2026, Kudrow’s primary reason for her recent press tour has been to promote the return of The Comeback.
Among other things, Kudrow and The Comeback gave us all this amazing barely-parody of recent political horrors: a woman claiming that conservative voices like hers have been “silenced,” each claim made repeatedly and broadcast for all to hear.
Hopefully, she will never again have to contend with toxic coworkers who might berate an actor for flubbing a line.
And hopefully neither she nor her former co-stars will have to deal with creepy colleagues, either. Yikes!

The world is still reacting to the shocking news that Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles are engaged.
Channing Tatum is part of the world. He also happens to be Kravitz’s former fiance.
Judging by his social media posts, he’s not taking the news well.
Is he okay?
On Monday, Channing Tatum took to his Instagram Story to share a poem, one attributed to John Roedel.
“My brain and / heart divorced / a decade ago / over who was / to blame about / how big of a mess / I have become,” the poem begins.
The words continue: “Eventually, / they couldn’t be / in the same room / with each other.”
Tagging Roedel to fully credit the writer, Tatum also added a caption.
“Read …” he wrote.
Channing’s post came only days after news broke about Kravitz and Styles being engaged.
Those two thirty-something hotties have only been dating for eight months.
By all accounts, the two are absolutely head over heels for each other.
It also doesn’t sound like their engagement came as a surprise to those closest to them.
But Style is not Kravitz’s first fiance.

Moving on is hard, especially when your ex makes it look easy
In June of 2019, Kravitz married fellow actor Karl Glusman.
The marriage did not last long. They parted ways in December of 2020.
In 2021, Kravitz and Tatum got together.
In 2023, they became engaged.
That engagement was not forever. They abruptly called off the engagement and split in 2024.
Reportedly, Channing and Kravitz parted amicably after simply growing apart.
They’ve both gone on to date following their split. But dating isn’t the same as an engagement.
Some fans characterize Channing as “crashing out” over Kravitz’s happy news. That might be taking it a little far.
But his emotionally tinged posts do seem to be related, even if they are not. He’s been a public figure for many years, and has to know how people will interpret his posts.
We hope that he’s doing okay. Watching your ex move on can be challenging, but it’s usually part of life. Even for hot celebs.

The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has never concealed her fondness for plastic surgery.
In fact, she documented her breast implant surgery on multiple episodes of Vanderpump Rules.
But these days, Brittany’s Instagram followers believe her fixation on fine-tuning her appearance has gone too far.
The mother of one posted the pic below earlier this week, and she was promptly flooded with comments about her “new face.”
Multiple users encouraged Britteny to “STOP messing with [her] face [and] body” and “lay off the plastic surgery.”
“You are unrecognizable,” one commenter wrote. That’s obviously not true, but for some reason, that’s always the go-to insult for plastic surgery shamers.
Another hater accused Brittany of looking “sooooo fake.”
Needless to say, these people really didn’t hold back.
Thankfully, amid all the trash talk, some fans were quick to praise Brittany’s glow-up.
“Happiness looks good on you,” one supporter commented.
“The way some of y’all are so comfortable criticizing someone else’s appearance is wild. If she’s happy, that’s what matters. You look great Brittany,” another added.
“Looking better and better and better,” a third chimed in:
Of course, that comment came from a page called Plastixdocs that seems to be some sort of pro-plastic surgery page. So Brittany might prefer to go without that support.
Following a very messy split from Jax Taylor, Brittany appears to be in a new relationship these days.
Brittany and Jax have reached a custody deal for their young son, and with Taylor planning to “take a break” from reality TV, it seems that she also won The Valley in the divorce.
In other words, she’s doing pretty well for herself these days. Hopefully, she’s not letting a random assortment of Insta-trolls bring her down.

Achieving fame through his role in Dances With Wolves, actor Nathan Chasing Horse traveled to various indigenous communities in the US and Canada.
He has now been convicted for preying upon women and girls across two decades.
In addition to capitalizing upon his fame, he also used his victims’ faith against them.
The court has sentenced him to life in prison. And prosecutors in other jurisdictions are also pursuing charges.
Convicted and sentenced
In 2023, authorities in Las Vegas first arrested and indicted the actor.
Law enforcement in other states — and in Canada — filed similar charges, which remain pending.
He is charged with a litany of crimes, most of which pertain to sexual assault.
Other jurisdictions may have a bit of a wait on their hands before they get to put Chasing Horse through their own trials.
He has been sentenced to life in prison. The disgraced actor will only be eligible for parole after 37 years behind bars.
Dances With Wolves is a legendary 1990 film that stars Kevin Costner, who also directed the piece after encouraging the writer to adapt it.
Chasing Horse portrayed a young Sioux named Smiles a Lot in the Oscar-wining piece.
After the fact, he traveled to visit various Native Americans across North America, participating in healing ceremonies.
Prosecutors say that he laundered this reputation as a Lakota medicine man in order to prey upon women and girls within these communities.
The jury heard from women who say that they had attended ceremonies or gone to him for help. That, they described, is when he decided to make them into his victims.
He used their faith to keep them quiet for years
Anyone familiar with sexual predators operating within a religious or spiritual role can imagine how this took place.
Prosecutors introduced evidence to the court of one victim who he sexually assaulted, claiming that he would help her mother’s cancer battle.
One victim was first assaulted when she was 14.
The jury in this case heard from three of his victims.
Ultimately, he received some acquittals but convictions on thirteen charges. That was enough, the judge concluded, for a life sentence.
DDA Bianca Pucci told the court that Chasing Horse “spun a web of abuse” to lure victims to him — and to keep them silent.
Even upon his conviction and sentencing, the former actor claims that he is innocent.
Chasing Horse told the judge that his sentence is “a miscarriage of justice.”
He may look forward to other “injustices” in other jurisdictions, in both the US and Canada, in the coming years.
Chasing Horse will be eligible for parole as early as the 2060s. Though further convictions may mean that release from prison merely means a transfer to a new facility.
