We have troubling news to report from the world of reality TV today.
90 Day Fiance star Jenny Slatten has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The reality star shared the devastating update alongside husband Sumit Singh ahead of their return to 90 Day: The Last Resort, which premieres next month.
According to Jenny and Sumit, the first warning signs appeared back in December 2024.
Sumit said Jenny first choked “badly” while drinking water before later experiencing migraines and increasing difficulty swallowing pills.
At first, the couple assumed it was some sort of infection, and briefly thought medication had improved her condition. But things eventually took a more frightening turn when Jenny’s speech noticeably slowed.
“That’s when we knew something was wrong,” Jenny recalled in an interview with People.
Fans may have been among the first people to suspect something serious was happening.
During a December 2025 90 Day Fiance holiday event in New York, viewers noticed changes in Jenny’s speech and began voicing concern online.
While Sumit initially believed exhaustion from travel was to blame, one commenter suggested ALS, prompting him to research the disease himself.
“And then I find out that these symptoms she was having — this is what it looks like,” Sumit said.
The realization carried an especially painful weight for Jenny because her father died from ALS more than a decade ago.
After returning to India, where the couple currently lives, Jenny sought multiple medical opinions before doctors ultimately confirmed the diagnosis.
“We cried and held each other,” Jenny said of the moment they learned the truth. She admitted the diagnosis has left both of them feeling “scared” about what lies ahead.
There is at least one small piece of encouraging news.
According to Sumit, doctors have told them the progression of Jenny’s ALS appears to be “slow.” The couple is now exploring treatment options, possible medications, and genetic testing, which may help determine whether Jenny qualifies for therapies designed to slow the disease’s progression.
“Right now we’re just looking and searching,” Jenny explained, adding that by sharing her story publicly, she hopes “maybe somebody will come forward with something” that could help.
In the wake of the devastating diagnosis, Jenny is asking that fans help her preserve her sense of normalcy.
“I don’t want to be treated any different,” she said. “Let’s just live our life as we have been while we can.”
The complexities and challenges of Jenny’s relationship with Sumit have been well-documented over the years.
But as Jenny faces the biggest challenge of her life, Sumit says his longtime partner has his full love and support.
“Honestly, I never felt this much love, or I can love anyone this much,” Sumit says.
“I used to … live for myself. But from [the] last so many years, I feel like doing [things] for someone who you love gives you happiness, I think that’s what love is. And that’s why we do things for each other, and that’s what make each other happy.”
“And we’re happy that we’re together,” Jenny added.

We have a shocking story to report from the world of social media today.
Popular TikTok influencer Gabbie Gonzalez has been arrested for allegedly plotting a conspiracy to kill singer Jack Avery, who is the father of her only child.
According to TMZ, Gabbie’s father, Francisco Gonzalez, has also been arrested in connection with the conspiracy.
Insiders tell the outlet that Gabbie had been waging a custody battle with Jack over their 7-year-old daughter, Lavender.
Witnesses told police that Francisco remarked that it would be cheaper if Jack were dead.
Gabbie was reportedly arrested in Humboldt County, California on Monday while she was attempting to board a flight.
She is currently behind bars without bail in Los Angeles.
Her father was arrested in Florida and has not yet been extradited to California.
Jack is a member of the boy band Why Don’t We.
In a recent interview, he revealed that he had been visited by the FBI, and agents informed him that they had reason to believe someone had attempted to have him killed.
Avery stated that he knew the names of the alleged conspirators but was not at liberty to disclose them.
Asked why someone might wish to have him killed, Avery replied, “To get stress out of their life.” Asked what stress he might be bringing to someone’s life, Jack replied, “None.”
Jack went on to state that he was traumatized by news of the conspiracy, and he began to abuse alcohol as a result of his fragile mental state.
He has not yet spoken publicly about the news that Gabbie and her father have been arrested.
With more than 1 million followers on TikTok alone, Gabbie is one of the best-known influencer moms on social media.

Disgraced former reality star Joseph Duggar is accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl in 2020.
Though he reportedly confessed twice, the father of four pleaded not guilty and is pushing ahead with his defense — which may force the young victim to testify.
Joseph’s legal team successfully convinced the court to grant access to investigators, so that his attorneys can grill child safety workers.
He has also asked the court to allow him to see his own children, arguing that the victim in this case is not his relative.
This is a small legal win as his team prepares for trial
TMZ obtained court documents showing that the judge is giving Joseph considerable leeway in his defense.
On Monday, May 18, the court ruled that the latest disgraced Duggar’s legal team may depose investigators as witnesses.
That includes people from the Department of Children & Families, the Child Protection Team, and the Children’s Advocacy Center.
Some of the records for these groups are usually protected by law — in the interests of continuing to protect children.
Yet, in this case, the agencies will have to turn over evidence — videos, audio recordings, and physical evidence — as part of the discovery process, for Joseph’s attorneys to review as they construct their case.
In general, it sucks to think of an accused predators attorneys getting hold of evidence only to try to get it excluded from the trial, or to find “experts” to testify that some piece of evidence is invalid.
But to deny them access to key evidence that the prosecution will use to build their case would violate Joseph’s rights.
(We know that that doesn’t sound bad. But we have to remember that some people accused of heinous things are innocent. We make no such claim about Joseph, of course.)
When prosecutors withhold potentially exculpatory evidence from the defense, it is called a Brady violation. You are not allowed to do that.
Just ask the prosecutor who went after Alec Baldwin a couple of years ago. How did that end? It’s not what anyone outside of the cult wants to happen at Joseph’s trial.
He wants contact with his kids, despite charges in two states
Joseph has not been permitted to communicate with his own children since early this spring.
His attorneys argue that, since the victim in this case is not one of his own children,
They also point out that, legally speaking, Joseph is considered innocent in the eyes of the law.
That means that, though people may condemn him and loathe him, the court must balance public safety with the rights of a potentially innocent man.
In response to Joseph’s request for the no-contact order to be amended, the judge scheduled a pretrial hearing for July, where the court will hear arguments.
Joseph is not the only member of his family to be in trouble with the law. And no, this time, we’re not referring to his incarcerated older brother, Joseph Duggar.
He and Kendra are both facing multiple charges of false imprisonment and child endangerment.
These charges stem from what investigators found when they searched the couple’s Arkansas house — a search that was automatic, in light of Joseph’s charges in Florida.
Both Joseph and Kendra have pleaded not guilty to those charges, too.
It’s unclear what arguments Joseph’s team will present at the July hearing, or how the court will rule.
But we know that the IBLP cult has historically instructed women to bring their children to see their incarcerated husbands — yes, even if the husband is a convicted predator. This is not exactly an unprecedented situation in the cult.

As we previously reported, Eminem’s ex-wife, Kim Mathers, was arrested on suspicion of DUI last week.
The arrest came just days after Kim pleaded no contest in connection with a previous traffic violation that resulted in a crash.
Now, Kim’s latest mug shots are receiving quite a bit of attention online, as social media users are expressing their shock at her appearance.
Now to be fair, Kim is not usually a public figure, so we haven’t laid eyes on her in a few years.
And she’s in her fifties now, so we’re not sure why folks thought she would look the same as she did when Em’s career first exploded over 27 years ago.
But this is social media we’re talking about, where hot takes reign supreme, and a whole lot of people seem unfamiliar with the concept of aging.
The photo above is her most recent mug shot.
And at least Kim appears to be in good spirits!
This image is Kim’s mug shot from her arrest back in February, when, police say, she took off after she crashed into a parked car on her street while taking her son, Parker, and his friends shopping.
Kim allegedly fled to her home and crashed into her garage door upon arrival.
Video from the arrest shows Kim taking a breathalyzer, and cops say they found soda bottles spiked with liquor in her car. She’s scheduled to be sentenced for that incident in June.
According to a report from TMZ, Kim’s more recent arrest led to her being booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mt. Clemens, Michigan last week.
Kim allegedly struck another car while driving in the 21 Mile Zone near Detroit at around 9:20 pm on Wednesday.
The arrest came just two days after Kim pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors connected to her previous crash.
Sadly, Kim has a history of driving while intoxicated.
Mathers has attempted suicide on multiple occasions, and at least one of those attempts involved getting behind the wheel while drunk.
At the time of her latest arrest, Kim was already facing charges of impaired driving and failure to report an accident from her previous crash.
Kim and Eminem were married from 1999 to 2001. They briefly remarried in 2006 before divorcing for good.
Neither party has commented publicly on these recent events.
