These days, we all know Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker as the parents of their precious baby, Rocky.
(He’s no longer a baby, really.)
But though the public knows a great deal (perhaps too much) about Kourt and Travis’ marriage, there’s one very new piece of information.
The two suffered a devastating miscarriage. They kept it secret until now.
‘We were devastated’
The Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear documentary premiered over the weekend, at the Tribeca Film Festival.
During the documentary, it is revealed that, mere months into his romance with Kourtney, she suffered a miscarriage.
This was a dark emotional moment for them both.
“When we lost the baby, we were devastated,” Kourtney told the camera, per Us Weekly‘s reporting.
She detailed: “We cried for days.”
According to the couple, Kourt became pregnant about 6 months into their relationship.
(As fans will no doubt remember, the two first became entangled in 2021, and went on to marry in May of 2022.)
This was not a brief thing — not, for example, a chemical pregnancy.
Travis and Kourt went so far as to learn that they were expecting a girl.
Their intention was to name their potential future daughter Tulip.
Ultimately, their perseverance paid off
According to the documentary, they were at the three-month mark and attending a doctor’s appointment when they got the news.
Kourt and Travis learned that the fetus no longer had a heartbeat.
Miscarriages are devastating on multiple levels, from hormonal fluctuations to personal pain to shared grief as a couple. In some cases, people can even go their separate ways, unable to go on as before.
This was, of course, not the end of their relationship — or their attempts to have a child together.
Kourt shared in the documentary that their fertility journey included five in vitro fertilization attempts across an eight month span.
In May of 2023, Kourtney and Travis decided that they were “officially done” with IVF and resolved to conceive naturally — letting the chips fall where they may.
Just one month later, Kourt and Travis announced the pregnancy news on social media.
Kourtney very memorably showed up in the audience of Travis’ Blink-182 concert, holding a poster that read: “Travis I’m pregnant.”
Though Rocky Thirteen, their son, needed “urgent fetal surgery” before he was born, they welcomed him into the world in November of 2023. He will be 3 years old this autumn.

One of Europe’s most shocking royal scandals has reached a dramatic conclusion.
Marius Borg Hoiby, the son of Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson of Crown Prince Haakon, has been sentenced to four years in prison after being convicted on multiple criminal charges, including two counts of rape.
The verdict was handed down Monday by the Oslo District Court following a lengthy and closely watched trial that has dominated headlines in Norway for months.
Hoiby, 29, faced dozens of charges stemming from allegations involving multiple women.
The court ultimately found him guilty on 34 counts, including rape, domestic violence, assault, drug-related offenses, and other crimes. He was acquitted on several charges, including two additional rape allegations.
While Hoiby is closely connected to Norway’s royal family, he does not hold a royal title and is not in the line of succession to the throne. Still, his relationship to the future king and queen has ensured intense public scrutiny throughout the case.
According to CBS News, prosecutors argued that several of the women involved were unable to consent because they were unconscious or otherwise incapacitated.
One of the rape convictions involved an incident that took place in the basement of the royal family’s official residence.
The court also found Hoiby guilty of abusing former girlfriend Nora Haukland, one of the few accusers who has been publicly identified. In addition to his prison sentence, he was ordered to pay compensation to multiple victims and was issued a restraining order related to one of the women involved in the case.
Prosecutors had sought a much longer sentence of more than seven years behind bars. Hoiby’s defense team, meanwhile, argued for a substantially lighter punishment.
The disgraced royal relative has consistently denied the rape allegations and is expected to appeal the verdict.
The case has cast a long shadow over Norway’s royal family, which, unlike the British royal family, has traditionally enjoyed strong public support and a largely scandal-free reputation. In recent months, the trial has generated intense debate throughout the country about privilege, accountability, and whether royal connections influenced the investigation.
Adding to the family’s difficulties, Crown Princess Mette-Marit is reportedly awaiting a lung transplant as she continues to battle serious health issues.
The Norwegian Royal Court has declined to comment on the verdict.

On Saturday, June 13, Ariana Grande performed to a massive arena in Los Angeles for her second Eternal Sunshine Tour concert.
On the stage, she broke down in tears.

“Thank you so much for being so loving,” Ariana expressed.

Gushing to the crowd, Ariana expressed that she has “never in my life experienced a crowd like this.”
She assured fans that their enduring support “means so much to me.”
“You can’t do this to me, you know what I mean, because you know what’s going to happen,” Ariana playfully told the crowd.
“You know I’m a Cancer. This is going to happen,” she continued.
Ariana was referring to astrology, a belief that constellations and planets have a supernatural impact on one’s life, personality, and fortunes. A “Cancer” (referring to crabs) was born between June 22 and July 23. Ariana, famously, has a June 26 birthday.
‘I just have so much gratitude’
As the crowd applauded, Ariana continued to address the thousands of attendees offering her emotional support.
She thanked her audience for being “such a loving, safe presence” in her life.
Ariana noted that this has been true “throughout all these chapters and all of these years.” True!

A couple of weeks ago, Josh Duggar was transferred to a new facility under mysterious circumstances.
His new facility, Federal Medical Center of Fort Worth, specializes in medical and mental health services.
Immediately, longtime Duggar watchers began to speculate about what might have led to the change of venue.
His attorney is offering a limited explanation for the transfer. Not everyone is convinced.
He is reportedly ‘fine’
Beau Brindley is currently the attorney representing Josh.
Speaking to TMZ, he insists that his client is doing just “fine” despite what one might assume from his transfer from FCI Seagoville to FMC Forth Worth.
According to Brindley, this was a “routine” transfer.
Which, obviously, tells us nothing.
So, what did Brindley choose to divulge?
According to Brindley, the May 29 transfer was not related to Josh’s health.
TMZ notes that FMC Fort Worth primarily caters to severely ill inmates who require inpatient management, intensive monitoring, or both.
In other words, no one gets transferred to FMC Fort Worth for a checkup.
Or for fun.
But that’s what Brindley has to share. And the Bureau of Prisons isn’t going to violate federal privacy laws to satisfy our curiosity. Alas.
Why don’t some folks believe this?
We have to, at this point, acknowledge that attorneys wear multiple hats in the course of their services.
In court, attorneys are officers of the court — and must conduct themselves in specific ways, including never lying to a judge, let along suborning perjury.
Attorneys also have obligations to advocate for their cause or client. Many view these as sacred tenants of their profession.
However, when attorneys speak to the press, they are wearing a very different hat.
We make no statement to impugn Brindley’s integrity or to imply that these statements were dishonest. We just have to acknowledge that TMZ is not a judge and Brindley’s statements would be in Josh’s best interests rather than intended to give TMZ the most accurate scoop.
Josh is currently serving a 12.5 year sentence following his conviction for receiving and possesing child sex-abuse material (CSAM).
In fact, his release date was just pushed back — and not for the first time.
At present, Josh will be in prison until February 2033.
He is fighting to overturn his conviction, shorten his sentence, or whatever else he can do to wriggle out of the legal consequences for his crimes.
Perhaps, one day, we’ll know the reason for this “routine” transfer. For now, we can only guess.
