The last time that Team USA competed in the World Baseball Classic, Paul Skenes hadn’t even made his major league debut yet. In fact, it wasn’t until months later that the Pittsburgh Pirates would select him with the first overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. Now a two-time All-Star and the reigning National League Cy Young winner, Skenes is one of the most feared pitchers in all baseball and an integral starter for Team USA under Mark DeRosa — both opportunities he doesn’t take for granted. “The proudest I’ve ever been wearing a jersey is the USA jersey,” Skenes told World Series champion and MLB on FOX analyst Alex Rodriguez in an interview ahead of Team USA’s game vs. the Dominican Republic. “You’re playing for a whole lot more. It’s great to play for a city, great to play for Pittsburgh in the regular season, but playing for your country, it’s a different level.” Skenes made his first official appearance for Team USA against Mexico in pool play. He pitched four innings and posted seven strikeouts, which is the all-time record for most strikeouts by a Team USA pitcher at the World Baseball Classic. “I wasn’t sure what it would feel like coming in,” Skenes said of the World Baseball Classic. “I think it’s one of things where you just don’t know what it’s going to feel like. Now being in it and seeing the atmosphere and playing the games, it’s everything I could have imagined.” Skenes will take the mound for Team USA once again in Sunday’s semifinal against an undefeated Dominican Republic team headlined by MLB All-Stars Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Manny Machado, and Fernando Tatis Jr. The stakes have never been higher for the 23-year-old ace, but he keeps a healthy perspective by reminding himself who he’s representing at the World Baseball Classic: “America,” Skenes said. “Our servicemen and women don’t have the luxury of losing, it’s not really an option for them,” Skenes added. “We’re not going to war, but is what we do in America: we fight and we win. That’s our responsibility.”Latest Sports News from FOX Sports

The men’s NCAA Tournament field was released on Selection Sunday, and the 68-team field is set. Some teams that expected to see their name selected by the committee were left out. Their spots were taken by bid-stealers such as VCU out of the Atlantic 10, and Akron out of the Mid-American conference, or fellow bubble teams with stronger resumes. Here were the five biggest snubs from the men’s NCAA Tournament. 1. Auburn Tigers Auburn men’s basketball was left out of the NCAA Tournament field on Sunday. The Tigers lost their chance at an automatic bid after losing to Tennessee in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Thursday. Because of that defeat, their fate was at the committee’s discretion, who opted to exclude Auburn from March Madness. The Tigers (17-16, 7-11 SEC) had an up-and-down season as they played one of the hardest schedules of any Division I program (third, per KenPom). While that might have provided challenges to prepare for postseason play, Auburn wasn’t able to earn enough victories to get there. Apart from the difficult slate, Auburn had an uphill battle from the beginning. Coming off a trip to the Final Four in 2025, the Tigers lost five starters. And just before the season, 11-year head coach Bruce Pearl turned the reigns over to his son, Steven. The Tigers peaked when they beat then-No. 4 Florida in Gainesville on January 24th. But losses in nine of their last 12 games ensured the Tigers would miss the NCAA Tournament for the first time in four years. [NCAA ODDS: Latest Men’s March Madness Odds, Favorites] 2. Indiana Hoosiers Indiana men’s basketball won’t be a part of the NCAA Tournament field after not hearing its name called by the selection committee on Sunday. The Hoosiers lost control of their postseason destiny after falling, 74-61, to Northwestern on Wednesday, a disastrous Quad 2 loss in their first game of the Big Ten Tournament. It’s been three years since Indiana has made the NCAA Tournament, as head coach Darian DeVries was unable to author a turnaround in his first year at the helm. DeVries came to Indiana after one season at West Virginia and six seasons at Drake, bringing his son Tucker DeVries and signing top transfers such as guards Lamar Wilkerson and Tayton Conerway. Indiana secured strong wins against NCAA Tournament teams such as in-state rival Purdue and at UCLA, but the Hoosiers’ loss to Northwestern was the final nail in the coffin. [MEN’S BRACKET: NCAA Tournament Bracket, Leaders & Stats] 3. Seton Hall Pirates Seton Hall men’s basketball missed out on the NCAA Tournament. The Pirates clawed for a spot over the last few weeks, challenging UConn in Storrs, Connecticut, and St. John’s in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament. Ultimately, the Pirates (21-12) didn’t do enough to earn a spot in the 68-team field. With the Big East having a down year, there weren’t as many opportunities to snag quality wins, and each loss was more detrimental. It’s now been two seasons since Seton Hall made March Madness. 4. San Diego State Aztecs Attempting to relive their glory days from 2023, the Aztecs came out short, ending up absent in the official bracket on Sunday. After losing four out of their last five games heading into the conference tournament, they needed to win the Mountain West Tournament to ensure an auto-bid to the Big Dance. Ultimately, Utah State came out on top, 73-62, stealing the championship game and the automatic bid. The team battled injuries to key depth players like junior forward Miles Heide and freshman guard Elzie Harrington late in the year. Making the tournament five consecutive years, this was their first bump in the road since 2019. 5. Oklahoma Sooners Despite a strong end-of-season push that saw the Sooners reach the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, they didn’t do enough to earn an at-large bid. It’s now the fourth time in five seasons under head coach Porter Moser that Oklahoma has missed the NCAA Tournament.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports
Christopher Bell won the pole and Stage 1 at Las Vegas. Then William Byron took Stage 2. But neither driver had quite enough to get into Victory Lane. They both, however, finished in the top 10. The lucky winner in Sin City was none other than Denny Hamlin. Here’s how it all unfolded. The Winner Is… Denny Hamlin won the day, but fans might have expected that the No. 11 would have a great race. In the fall of 2025, Hamlin started this race from the pole before winning ahead of Kyle Larson (second). Before today’s race at Vegas, Hamlin had earned two top 10s and one top five in 2026. How The Race Was Won With fewer than 85 laps to go, Denny Hamlin took the lead from William Byron and didn’t let up. Down the stretch, Hamlin was able to hold off a feisty Chase Elliott to get his first win of the 2026 NASCAR season. The victory today for the JGR driver makes this win No. 61 for the veteran. Her Oscar nomination for her work in Bugonia has led to renewed interest into the ultra-private life of Emma Stone.
In 2021, she took on the role of a lifetime, becoming a mother for the first time.
Now that she has two Oscars, could another baby be on the way for her next? Here’s what we know.

Emma Stone’s First Pregnancy
“She seems very happy and very excited about becoming a mother — she’s constantly oohing and cooing,” an insider told Us Weekly when Emma was expecting her first child.
In late 2020, early 2021, at the height of the Covid pandemic, Emma was able to keep the news of her first pregnancy fairly under wraps.
You know, due to the whole quarantining thing.
But when she was caught by paparazzi out and about, her baby bump was a dead giveaway that she and her husband Dave McCary were expecting.

The Daily Mail published photos of Stone cradling her growing baby bump on a walk with a friend in Los Angeles on December 30.
Stone herself never confirmed the major news, but sources close to her were all to happy to tell outlets how “healthy and glowing” she was.
“She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in,” the US Weekly source added.
In March 2021, Emma welcomed her first child, Louise Jean.
While Emma has kept much about her daughter private, she did give her a major shout out at the Oscars.

Emma Stone wins her 2nd Oscar and Dedicates To Her Daughter
At the 2024 Oscars, it was clear by the look on Emma’s face that she did not expect to win against Lily Gladstone for Best Actress.
In fact, despite the pair being neck and neck all awards season, most predicted she’d lose out to the breakout star of Killers of the Flower Moon.
But win she did for her role as Bella Baxter in Poor Things.
And, as she held her Oscar in her hand, it also became clear that she was speechless. Like, as in, she didn’t have a speech prepared!
Sure, she blamed the wardrobe malfunction and Ryan Gosling’s Ken performance, but at the end of the day, she really didn’t expect to win.

And so, she thanked those closest to her, like her family, and saved the best message for last.
“I really just want to thank my family – my mom, my brother Spencer, my dad, my husband Dave, I love you so much,” Emma said to finish her speech, before shouting out Louise, her daughter.
“And, most importantly, my daughter, who’s gonna be 3 in three days and has turned our lives technicolor. I love you bigger than the whole sky, my girl.”

Emma Stone Pregnant: Is She Expecting Another Child
As of Oscar night 2026, Emma has not announced that she is pregnant again.
Given how private she was about her first pregnancy, it’s doubtful she’ll fill in her fans until a second baby arrives anyway.
But Emma has been vocal about her pregnancy journey in the past.
In August 2018, Emma talked to to Elleabout her and her husband’s future family plans.
“My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older,” the two-time Oscar winner told pal Jennifer Lawrence at the time.
“I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was, like, ‘I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids.’
Of course, clearly all of that changed as she entered her adult years. Emma admits that, with age, came a change of heart and perspective.
“Then I got older and I was, like, ‘I really want to get married, I really want to have kids,’”she said, adding:
“And honestly, so many of my dreams are now personal and less professional.”
Her Marriage To Dave McCary
Part of that personal journey has been finding someone to share her life with.
While Emma Stone might not be pregnant again (yet!), she is in a happy marriage with her husband, Dave McCary, a comedy writer on Saturday Night Live.
Stone and McCary first started dating in October of 2017; they got engaged in December of 2019.
A source then confirmed to People magazine in September 2020 that the two had quietly gotten married.
This blessed news of her first pregnancy came after the couple initially sparked marriage rumors in May when because were seen rocking gold bands.
But who’s he dating now? Is he single? Asking for a friend, of course.

Did he date Kendall Jenner?
Back in 2015, a sighting of Michael B. Jordan with Kendall Jenner raised questions about whether the two were dating.
See, these two famous hotties were spotted leaving the same post-Met Gala party.
(This was a huge time for Kendall and Kylie stepping out from their elder sisters’ shadows — while MBJ was actually considerably less famous than he is today.)
When asked, Jordan actually landed in hot water for sounding a little too defensive about dating white women rather than only dating Black women. That is a complex topic that is, frankly, out of our lane.
However, that tangent aside, he clarified that he and Kendall are only friends. As of 2026, that appears to still be the case.

Did he date KiKi Layne?
In 2019, both Michael B. Jordan and KiKi Layne attended some of the same events in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival.
Eyewitness reports at the time described the two as friendly, as flirty, and as seemingly attached at the hip.
They didn’t leave together. However, they left in such rapid succession that it nearly amounted to leaving arm-in-arm.
However, neither Jordan nor Layne have ever confirmed any alleged romance.
So this entanglement remains but a rumor. And, regardless, even the rumor ended long ago.

Did he date Cindy Bruna?
Just a couple of months after Sundance, Michael B. Jordan and model Cindy Bruna sparked rumors.
(It is best to remember that this was all on the heels of Black Panther (2018), a film in which he is devastatingly attractive at every turn.)
This time, they were spotted dining together.
Additionally, reports said that Jordan had been double-tapping Bruna’s Instagram photos.
What, if anything, came of this? We don’t know. Neither Jordan nor Bruna ever confirmed or denied a romance.

Michael B. Jordan did, for sure, date Lori Harvey
People first suspected that Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey were dating when, in November 2020, they appeared to attend Thanksgiving with her family together. They had not been dating for long.
Early in 2021, they went Instagram official.
Unlike Jordan’s past rumored entanglements, this was public — with both of them addressing their romance and making public appearances together.
Ultimately, they reportedly broke up around June 2022. In January 2023, Jordan used his SNL monologue to refer to the split as his “very first public breakup.”
Jordan has since referred to the year-and-a-half-long relationship as an “experience” that allowed him to “grow and learn.”

Where do things stand today?
It is currently believed that Michael B. Jordan is single.
Has he confirmed this? No. Jordan is fairly private about his romantic life — which is a sensible approach for anyone who hopes to prevent their fame from destroying their happiness.
These days, he tends to bring his mom as his plus-one to awards shows. (Adorable!)
Obviously, it is entirely possible that he has kept one or more relationships entirely secret. It’s not easy, but it’s conceivable!
But it also makes sense that, you know, sometimes people — especially busy professionals — are just single for a while.
