Stephen Wilson Jr. has unveiled the official music video for his latest single “Gary,” starring award-winning actor Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, Apollo 13). The clip arrived Sunday, March 15, on the anniversary of the passing of a real-life teenager named Gary, whose roadside memorial inspired Wilson Jr. to write the song.
It all began when the Indiana-born singer/songwriter caught a glimpse of a young boy’s memorial one day. He started to imagine what the boy would have been like before he died and about 30 minutes later, the song had just fallen out.
Released last November, “Gary” finds Wilson Jr. putting his grungy vocals on full display as he depicts a character who often exists in the background of life, someone people don’t always notice until they stop and take a closer look. Although he doesn’t know the real Gary, he strives to put himself in his shoes and ends up taking listeners on a rollercoaster of emotions as a result.

Directed by Tim Cofield, the cinematic video brings the unique narrative to life in a real and emotional way. It opens with the singer/songwriter, dressed as a security guard, walking into a bank with his guitar in hand. The scene then shifts to the inside of a well-lived-in home, where Gary, a veteran whose full government name is “Gary Buchanan III,” resides. We see him quietly going about his life, fixing cars, helping neighbors with plumbing, and refusing payment for his work, despite the fact that he is clearly not well off financially.
Frustrated by the way things have turned out for him, Gary later returns to the bank intending to rob it. He threatens the teller, but Wilson Jr. keeps playing through it all, even unfazed by the lighter Gary flashes in his face. After taking the cash, Gary makes a surprising stop to fill Wilson Jr.’s gas tank. This becomes the first glimpse into the true reason behind his crime. We quickly learn that it wasn’t a selfish act to rob the bank, but instead a chance to give back to those struggling around him.
The video reveals his true motive as he drives through his under-resourced neighborhood, with a big smile on his face while throwing money out the window for members of his community to collect. Back home he appears proud of his actions, but the emotions really set in from the viewers’ perspective when he collapses on the floor just as police arrive.
This powerful portrayal of the song taps into the true emotion that Wilson Jr. was trying to convey when the idea for the story first came to him. As a former scientist, he started to envision “Gary” as an “endangered species,” noting how people of his kind nature don’t exist much in today’s world. He paired this idea with a melody that evokes sadness and tragedy, resulting in an incredibly powerful and well-thought-out delivery.
Along with the arrival of the new video, Wilson Jr. also offered a taxonomic analysis of this type of person, saying, “(Garis mechanicus) Kingdom: Animalia – Phylum: Chordata…- a dying breed, endangered species of fixer. dwelling naturally in a habitat of grease, oil & stereo static. drawn to the roar of 8 cylinders firing in perfect unison or the sound of restricted PVC stably flowing once again. a fixer by nature – born into a broken world. may he run once again.”

The star of the video, Gary Sinise added a statement, revealing why he felt drawn to be a part of sharing the story in this raw format.
“I heard Stephen’s song and loved it. Two weeks later he reached out to me to be in the video. He’s got a great team, a great song and it was a blast to work with them all on the video. And you know….there aint a lotta boys named Gary these days,” he shared.
“Gary” marks the Nashville-based rising star’s first single at County Radio and is currently at No.40 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and it served as a follow-up to debut double album søn of dad.

On Monday, March 2, a man named Phillip Donaldson was walking his dog.
The area where he was walking has an unfortunate reputation for illegal dumping.
Donaldson discovered a half-buried suitcase during his walk. It’s clear that he immediately understood that something was awry.
Authorities uncovered the bodies of two children.
Cleveland Police Chief Annie Todd announced that she was coordinating with state and federal experts to identify the bodies.

Police have since determined that they were half-sisters: 8-year-old Mila Chatman and 10-year-old Amor Wilson.
That same week, on March 5, police detailed 28-year-old Aliyah Henderson.
She is now facing charges of aggravated murder and of child endangering, with both charges related to this case.
A third child was at Henderson’s home when authorities detained her.
That unnamed child is now in the custody of child protective services.

A years-long search ended in the worst way for one father
A man named Deshaun Chatman is working with police, and has submitted DNA samples to prove that he is 8-year-old Mila’s father.
He spoke to WOIO 19 News about his despair, and the years that he spent trying to find his daughter.
“I’ve been looking for my daughter for five years,” Chatman shared.
“I’ve been calling CPS, going to the courts, trying to get emergency custody, calling the police for welfare checks,” he lamented.
“But,” Chatman despaired, “they denied all access.”
According to Chatman, Henderson has been avoiding him for years.
She moved around.
There are also records indicating that she changed her name.
The last time that he saw his daughter, he reported, was when he helped to buy her clothes for kindergarten.
Obviously, this is a worst case scenario. Whatever happened to end his daughter’s life alongside her sister’s, it is an unthinkable horror.

There may be aspects of the case that are not yet public
The medical examiner’s office has performed an autopsy on both victims. Authorities have yet to divulge their causes of death.
At present, Henderson is being held on a colossal bond, given the seriousness of the charges against her.
Because authorities have shared so little, some on social media are speculating that they suspect Henderson of only being an accessory to the deaths or a participant.
But police and prosecutors have made no public mention of any search for a third party, such as a boyfriend or ex-boyfriend.
Our hearts are broken for 8-year-old Mila and 10-year-old Amor. They deserved better than the horrors that they knew in life.

You really can’t go wrong with blue cheese dressing, but there’s one brand that stands out above the rest, and which is also beloved across the internet too.
Over the weekend, the former reality star recently shared a quiet moment from her morning routine on Instagram, posting a short video of herself making breakfast while two of her young sons watched nearby.
But instead of simply appreciating the sweet glimpse into family life, some observers say the message behind the post struck them as troubling.
In the post, Duggar reflected on the fleeting nature of raising young children.
“Just a regular morning… that I know I’ll miss someday,” she wrote, adding that right now her children see her as “their whole world,” but that one day she will wish she could have those moments back.
For many parents, that sentiment might sound familiar. But critics online interpreted the message differently, with some suggesting the post hinted at deeper struggles.
Jessa Duggar is featured here in a clip from TLC. (TLC)
The discussion began after someone shared Duggar’s post on Reddit, wondering if her words might suggest she’s struggling behind the scenes.
One commenter speculated that Duggar might be trying to convince herself she’s living in the “good old days,” questioning why she would feel compelled to frame the moment that way publicly.
Others went further, suggesting she could be dealing with depression or dissatisfaction with the life she chose.
It’s important to note that these are simply online reactions and not confirmed facts about Duggar’s mental health. The reality is that only Duggar herself — along with those close to her — could truly know how she’s feeling.
Still, the conversation highlights the intense scrutiny Duggar has faced for years.
Parenting that many small children — several of whom are still under the age of 10 — would be overwhelming for anyone. And Duggar has long been open about sharing pieces of her daily life with fans on social media.
Her posts often show ordinary moments: cooking meals, managing a busy household, or documenting family outings.
Some believe Jessa’s post signals something darker, while others say the critics are reading too much into it.
Some parents jumped into the conversation to say the message actually resonated with them. One commenter noted that when parenting gets stressful — especially with multiple small children — it can help to remind yourself that these years pass quickly.
In other words, Duggar’s words may simply reflect a common parenting reality: the days can feel long, but the years move fast.

Public speculation about Jessa’s life is nothing new, of course.
Ever since her family became famous, she and her siblings have been the subject of constant commentary about everything from their parenting choices to their personal beliefs.
That level of scrutiny can turn even the most ordinary social media post into a headline.
For now, Jessa has not responded publicly to the speculation surrounding her latest post.
And without hearing from her directly, the true meaning behind her message remains exactly what it appears to be: a brief reflection from a mother trying to appreciate a moment in a very busy life.
