The decision was clearly an abrupt one, coming just one month before the Dallas Cowboys QB and the certified wine and beverage expert were set to exchange vows in Lake Como, Italy.
Now, we have new information about what may have led to the split.

At first, it was widely rumored that Dak and Sarah called it quits over a prenup disagreement.
But Sarah has taken to social media to insist that that’s not the case:
“This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now,” she wrote on Instagram, according to Page Six.
She also posted pics of the destination bachelor-bachelorette party that she and Dak threw for themselves.
“I truly believe you can get through anything in life as long as you have really great friends. I love these girls so much,” she captioned the pics.
Yes, this breakup was so sudden that it took place after the bachelor-bachelorette party.

So what happened? Well, according to Page Six, Ramos became fed up with Prescott’s infidelity, and she issued him an ultimatum.
The site reports that Ramos had been “aware of Prescott’s alleged history of communicating with other women during their almost-three-year relationship,” but “she stayed with him for the sake of their family.”
Unfortunately, the situation seems to have come to a head just as Dak and Sarah were preparing to tie the knot.
A source tells the outlet that Prescott was “using incognito social media profiles to send inappropriate messages to multiple women and ex-flings.”
Ramos reportedly confronted Dak about the messages, and when she didn’t like his response, she called the whole thing off.

Earlier this week, the pair sent an email to all 250 guests who had planned to attend their destination wedding on April 10:
“It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding,” reads the email obtained by TMZ.
“We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and we welcome your prayers.”
The message was signed, “Sarah Jane Ramos and Dak Prescott.”
Prescott and Ramos began dating in May 2023.
They welcomed their first daughter, Margaret, in February 2024 and got engaged eight months later. They welcomed their second daughter, Aurora, in May 2025.

On a beautiful spring day in Nashville, Patrick joined us for the Pupdate. A self-admitted dog lover, she was more than ready to get down on the floor and play with the trio of adorable Chihuahua mix puppies.
As the puppies frolicked around her, Patrick did her best not to get too distracted as she told us about the dogs she shares with her husband, including Cash, who was Mitchell’s dog before they met.

“He’s my adoptive son,” she laughed. “Much to Mitchell’s dismay kind of prefers me and mostly cuddles with me.”
Then there’s her dog, Annie. “She’s been with me through everything,” Patrick admitted.
At just 38 pounds, she said Annie would make a “perfect bus dog.”
“My biggest goal in life, honestly, of getting a bus is so that I can bring Annie with me… I actually wrote a song about it called ‘Bus for Annie.’ So buy my record so I can get a bus and take my dog on the road,” she laughed.
Reflecting on her career, Patrick described the last couple of years as “pretty incredible” and credited not only her team but also her growing confidence for the trajectory her career is on.
“I feel like I’ve really stepped into my own and had the confidence to make the music that is authentic to me and that has the message that I want to put out there. And just kind of doing it unapologetically,” she declared.
Patrick’s latest album Golden Child (and its deluxe version, The Final Chapter) found the singer/songwriter digging deeper than ever before and tackling subjects that may seem taboo for some, including domestic violence. But that honesty is exactly what helped fans connect to the project.

Of the album, Patrick shared, “It’s been bigger than anything I’ve ever released just in terms of the fan reactions and everything. It was a deeply personal album for me. It was very cathartic and healing for me to make that record. And it’s been amazing to see just how cathartic and healing it’s been for the fans too.”
She recalled a moment in her career when she began reflecting on the kind of music she truly wanted to make and what she wanted to say through her art, a realization that ultimately became a turning point.
“A few years ago, I kind of came to the realization that my goal with music was bigger than just making a career out of it. It was, okay, ‘what is my actual purpose here?’ And ‘what am I meant to do through my music?’ And I think that for me, I’m meant to help other people heal…And I try and do that by just sharing my own experiences and just making really honest music about some of the stuff that other people don’t want to talk about in music.”

Because of that, she has built a deep connection with her fans.
“The kind of fans that I’ve made because of this record are like really diehard fans because the music isn’t surface. So the relationship that I build with those fans isn’t surface either, which is really rewarding and fulfilling.”
She doesn’t take that relationship for granted, especially knowing how “cutthroat” the music industry can sometimes be.
“You get a lot of nos and you don’t always get recognized for your music. It feels like sometimes we’re more in the entertainment industry than the music industry,” she pointed out. “And unless you’re making headlines about something besides your music, then you kind of just get overlooked. But the fans, they’re the reason why I keep doing what I’m doing.”

As for her personal life, Patrick occasionally shares glimpses into her life at home with Tenpenny and the couple has walked red carpets together. However, she explained that they often choose to keep much of their relationship private.
“Mitchell and I, obviously both being artists, there’s plenty of opportunities for us to kind of use that, but…my marriage isn’t for sale. It’s not up for sacrifice and it’s very precious to me. It’s sacred to both of us,” she declared. “And so we keep our life fairly private. I mean, we share what we want to, and maybe we would get more attention if we shared more, but it’s not worth it to us. We have a really beautiful relationship and we want to protect it above all.”
Meghan Patrick is in the midst of her The Golden Child Tour and next week, she’ll make her way to Nashville to perform at Country Radio Seminar’s coveted New Faces of Country Music showcase.

A year from now we will be getting down to the wire for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. So what better time to make our initial roster predictions for the group Emma Hayes will call up? The U.S. women’s national team won its eighth SheBelieves Cup title over the weekend, and didn’t even have some of its most recognizable players available for various reasons. For example, Sophia Wilson and Mallory Swanson are coming back from maternity leave while Tierna Davidson and Catarina Macario are recovering from injuries. Those four players – if healthy – figure to play large roles at the tournament next summer. One thing we’ve learned from Hayes’ time as manager so far is that she’s committed to developing and growing this player pool. Not just for the 2027 World Cup, but the 2028 Olympics and the 2031 World Cup as well. And we’re seeing her do the things she’s set out to do in real time. Hayes has given 32 players caps in 32 games. She’s further established the youth programs and the U23 squad as the premier pipeline to the senior team. We’ve seen players – Michelle Cooper, Claire Hutton, Lilly Reale, Jameese Joseph, Gisele Thompson and more – who were called into the Futures Camp in January 2025 and have since worked their way to getting regular call-ups. They are competing for spots on the roster for World Cup qualifying later this year and for the big show next summer. This past training camp was a peak inside who Hayes has identified as part of a “core group.” These are players who Hayes believes are ready – or nearly ready – to make a difference ahead of the 2027 World Cup. Using that as a guide, as well as noting players who haven’t been available but will be soon, here is our first edition of who we think Hayes is seriously looking at for the 2027 World Cup roster: Goalkeepers (3): Phallon Tullis-Joyce (Manchester United), Claudia Dickey (Seattle Reign), Mandy McGlynn (Utah Royals) It’s clear at this point that Tullis-Joyce is Hayes’ No. 1 option in goal. She started two of the three SheBelieves Cup matches – wins over Canada and Colombia – and kept clean sheets. She’s a budding star for her Women’s Super League club, where she won a share of the Golden Glove award last season and was named Manchester United’s Player of the Year. It’s a tall order to replace Alyssa Naeher, but Tullis-Joyce is getting more and more comfortable in each USWNT appearance. Defenders (7): Naomi Girma (Chelsea), Emily Fox (Arsenal), Emily Sonnett (Gotham FC), Tierna Davidson (Gotham FC), Lilly Reale (Gotham FC), Tara Rudd (Washington Spirit), Avery Patterson (Houston Dash) The back line is pretty much set. Fox at right back, Girma at center back – alongside Davidson or Sonnett, depending on health and opponent – and then most likely Reale on the left. Davidson hasn’t been with the team since tearing her ACL in March 2025, but she’s back with her club ahead of this NWSL season, which means a return to the USWNT in April seems probable. Reale left the SheBelieves camp with a foot injury, but Hayes is high on U.S. Soccer’s 2025 Young Female Player of the Year. Rudd, Patterson and Gisele Thompson (who is not listed here) have all seen their respective stocks rise over the past year and would be strong options to showcase the squad’s depth at a major tournament. Midfielders (7): Lindsey Heaps (OL Lyonnes), Rose Lavelle (Gotham FC), Sam Coffey (Manchester City), Claire Hutton (Bay FC), Lily Yohannes (OL Lyonnes), Jaedyn Shaw (Gotham FC), Olivia Moultrie (Portland Thorns) Hayes has so many options tactically in the midfield. There’s always the Heaps-Lavelle-Coffey formation, which relies on experience and familiarity. But off that there’s a web of different combinations Hayes can play. Coffey could be a single holding midfielder, or play in a double pivot. Shaw can come in effectively at the No. 10 position, and Hutton and Yohannes are young stars in the making who will be part of this team for a long time. This is an incredibly tight-knit unit and one that Hayes will be able to adjust when needed. Forwards (6): Trinity Rodman (Washington Spirit), Mallory Swanson (Chicago Stars), Sophia Smith (Portland Thorns), Catarina Macario (Chelsea), Alyssa Thompson (Chelsea), Ally Sentnor (Kansas City Current) This is where things get the most interesting. The world saw how dynamic and dangerous a full-strength Triple Espresso can be when it led the team to gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Since then, Swanson and Wilson have had babies and been out on maternity leave. In their absences, opportunities have come to Thompson, Sentnor and Macario, who could and should all be starters. This might be the most fun position group for Hayes because if you start the Triple Espresso, for example, and need to switch things up in the second half, a tired opponent isn’t going to want to see Thompson or Macario coming off the bench.Latest Sports News from FOX Sports
We have sad news to report from the world of music today.
Betty Hixson, the grandmother of hip hop legend Eminem, has passed away.
She was 87 years old.

News of Betty’s passing comes courtesy of a report from TMZ, who reveals that she passed away at her home in Missouri from complications from breast cancer.
A source tells the site that Em was not present at the time of his grandmother’s passing.
The relationship between Betty and Eminem — whose real name is Marshall Mathers — was notoriously rocky.
As fans know, Marshall routinely lashed out at his mother — and Betty’s daughter — Debbie Nelson in his lyrics.
And Betty routinely made it known that she was very much Team Debbie in that conflict.

“Neither his mother Debbie nor I can figure out what happened to this sweet, caring youngster. In just over 12 years he’s gone from telling me ‘Grandma I love you,’ to ‘Go to hell.’ It just breaks my heart,” she said in a 2000 interview with the Mirror (via TMZ), adding:
“I can’t believe this is my Marshall, the same boy who used to come and sit on my lap.”
And while she and Marshall patched things up in recent years, there’s been no indication that he ever made his way back into Betty’s good graces.
