EXCLUSIVE: T.D. Jakes Gets Win, Judge Sanctions Tyrone Blackburn For AI Generated Mess In Lawsuit

T.D. Jakes scored a courtroom victory in Texas as a federal judge sanctioned attorney Tyrone Blackburn for submitting legal documents riddled with bogus citations generated by artificial intelligence.

The case stemmed from a defamation lawsuit filed by Jakes against Duane Youngblood, who had accused the bishop of sexual misconduct in the 1980s.

Jakes denied all allegations and claimed Youngblood attempted to extort him for $6 million before going public.

Blackburn, representing Youngblood, filed court briefs that included fabricated legal references and misquoted prior rulings. The judge found the errors egregious and deliberate.

“Blackburn doubled-down. His reply brief contained the same problems as his initial brief. Rather than take responsibility for his misconduct, apologize, and voluntarily withdraw his brief, Blackburn pointed the finger at Plaintiff’s counsel, wrongly accusing them of doing exactly what he did twice—using AI to craft an inaccurate brief,” the court wrote.

Blackburn acknowledged using generative AI to draft the filings and apologized, blaming his unfamiliarity with the technology. But the court wasn’t buying it.

“The Court holds that Blackburn engaged in sanctionable conduct. At best, he knowingly and repeatedly submitted legal documents that he neither prepared nor reviewed to ensure their accuracy… It is inexcusable to skirt this duty by relying on AI to draft a brief. Blackburn did so and, when accused, did so again.”

Jakes’ legal team requested over $76,000 in attorneys’ fees, but the judge instead imposed a $5,000 fine on Blackburn, citing deterrence as the goal.

Blackburn must pay the fine in monthly installments. The court also revoked his pro hac vice status, barring him from practicing in the district.

Any future request to appear in court must include a copy of the sanction order.

This isn’t Blackburn’s only legal headache. In a separate federal case, Fat Joe is being sued for $20 million by his former hypeman, Terrance Dixon, who accuses the rapper of underpayment and coercing him into “thousands of sex acts.”

Fat Joe’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, blasted Blackburn for filing “bogus” pleadings in that case as well, citing the same AI-generated citation issues.

Tacopina called Blackburn’s conduct part of a broader trend of “flagrant disregard of his duties,” referencing both the Jakes and Fat Joe lawsuits.

As for Blackburn, he recently told a judge that Fat Joe’s lawyer’s blistering attacks have caused him severe distress that required hospitalization.

Cardi B May Have Paid Offset Out In Rumored Divorce Settlement

Ayo…

Cardi B and Offset’s situation just took a chaotic twist. Word is Cardi has agreed to shell out millions in spousal support to Offset to finalize their divorce! On top of that, the streets are saying the asset split is 70/30 in his favor. Hmmmm…interesting. Offset might be walking away with the lion’s share of the bag, but let us walk down this road a bit more.

READ ONLY: Eminem Dragged Into False Nicki Minaj & Cardi B Rumor Online

Now, Offset reportedly maintains Cardi left him. And even got pregnant by another man while they were still legally married. She says he stopped being a dad to their kids. This feels like a full-blown soap opera.

Fans have noticed the tension for months, but this latest twist sounds like a Tyler Perry movie. Before I continue, this is just talk in the streets. I do not see any full blown, clear reports yet. I am sure they are reading this now and verifying it. Nevertheless, Cardi’s been outside, smiling, performing and flexing her independence. That belly has not stopped anything. Offset’s been slightly lowkey, but he might turn up after this. He might walk away from a divorce richer than he went in and that is a mighty feat!

This one hits different, because Cardi asked “Am I The Drama?” Now, I believe we have the answer. The chatter online is relentless! I hope she is taking care of herself and the bun in her oven.

Stay locked in, because if Offset or if Cardi starts talking about this, we’ll all be tuned in, baby.

-illseed out!

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & Crew Caught In Violent Club Brawl In Japan

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie found himself in the middle of a wild nightclub brawl in Tokyo over the weekend, as his entourage clashed with another group during the Magic City Takeover at Zouk Japan.

Footage circulating online appears to show the 29-year-old Bronx rapper and his crew caught in a violent altercation at the club on Friday (October 3). Several individuals can be seen stomping on a man on the ground amid the chaos.

Video obtained by TMZ shows the aftermath of the melee—furniture flipped, cash scattered, and partygoers scrambling to escape the chaos.

Witnesses say A Boogie was seen on a platform during the incident, appearing to look for something to hurl into the crowd.

According to individuals present at the club, confusion surrounded which crew actually initiated the fight.

However, staff at Zouk Japan reportedly suggested A Boogie’s team was the main aggressor. Despite the scale of the disturbance, no arrests had been made as of Monday (October 6).

The rapper was in Japan to perform at the Force Festival, a major Hip-Hop event featuring artists like Future, Central Cee, Metro Boomin, Trippie Redd, Sexyy Red, Latto, and Polo G.

Early speculation suggested a possible clash with Future’s entourage, but sources later confirmed that his team was not involved.

This isn’t the first time A Boogie has found himself in the middle of a chaotic scene abroad.

In April 2024, the rapper was involved in a confrontation outside a Paris nightclub after he and his entourage were denied entry.

The situation escalated when a bouncer grabbed a pole and another allegedly used pepper spray, sparking a physical clash between both sides. A visibly frustrated A Boogie then broke a bottle and reportedly brandished it before the video abruptly ended.

Pooh Shiesty Released Early From Prison After Serving Three Years

Pooh Shiesty stepped back into the spotlight this week after being released early from federal prison, cutting short a five-year sentence tied to a 2020 shooting in Florida.

The 24-year-old Memphis rapper walked free after serving roughly three years of a 63-month sentence for conspiracy to possess firearms in connection with violent and drug-related crimes.

His original release date was scheduled for April 2026, but his early exit has sparked buzz across social media, especially after videos surfaced of him celebrating at a welcome-home party on Monday night (October 6).

Clips from the event show Pooh Shiesty surrounded by friends and posing for photos in front of a “welcome home” sign.

He’s also seen flashing stacks of cash alongside fellow Memphis rappers Big30 and K Carbon, who shared the moment on Instagram. The trio appeared to be filming a music video, hinting that new material could be on the way.

Although the U.S. Bureau of Prisons hasn’t confirmed the details of his release, reports suggest the rapper may now be living in a halfway house.

Pooh Shiesty Avoids Life Sentence

The case that landed Shiesty behind bars stemmed from an October 2020 incident at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. Prosecutors said Shiesty and two others arranged a meeting to buy marijuana and designer sneakers, but the deal turned violent.

One man was shot in the buttocks, and Shiesty was later charged with multiple felonies, including armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Initially released on bond, Shiesty was later taken into federal custody. In January 2022, he pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes. The plea deal helped him avoid a potential life sentence, and three other charges were dropped.

Shiesty, a Gucci Mane protégé signed to 1017 Records, rose to fame with his 2020 track “Back in Blood” featuring Lil Durk.

His legal troubles put a pause on his rising career, but with his release, speculation is already growing about a return to music.
